love working in the flower bed and in my garden, but I don’t like kneeling down on the ground. As I’ve gotten older, it’s not as easy for me to get up sometimes. Plus, it makes the joints stiff and achy. So, when I saw this garden kneeler with a seat, I knew my gardening prayers had been answered! I liked that this was a heavy duty kneeler/seat and that it folded up for easy storage. For as well built and durable as it looks, it’s not very heavy. Setting it up is simple…you pull down on the legs/handle bars and they click into position. There’s a bar on the end of each leg/handle bar that you pull in, and it releases the pieces that lock it into position. I didn’t find it hard to do, but someone with very limited mobility in their hands may struggle with that step. When the kneeler is in its upright position as a seat, it’s comfortable to sit on and do limited gardening work. When the kneeler is turned upside down, with the legs/bars up, it provides a decent cushion for knees when you need to blend down to work in the soil. The arms on each side are helpful in assisting those that struggle to get up off the ground/bench on their own. Although I have not officially used them yet, the two included tool bags are very well made from a heavier denier, and I think they’re a nice addition for keeping tools with you as you move around the garden. Because I haven’t had a need to work in the garden this fall, I haven’t put any gardening equipment in the tool bags yet….but I do hope the small hand tools I use most often, like the rake, shovel, hoe and dandelion digger will actually fit in the pouches upright. I appreciate that the tool bags were designed to fit over the the bars, whether the kneeler is upright for sitting or in the down position for kneeling and working on your knees. The foam pieces for sitting or kneeling are only about 1/2 inch thick, but they do provide some padding so you’re not sitting or kneeling on a hard metal piece. I also like that there are gripper pieces on the bottom of whichever side you have sitting on the ground, to prevent the seat/ kneeler from slipping. In my opinion, all the materials used in making this garden kneeler/seat are durable, heavy duty and of good quality. Even though I’ve only tried the seat and kneeler out, but not spent hours working with it yet, I can tell it’s what I’ve been wanting. It’s actually better quality than what I was thinking of getting. Hence, I am pleased with this item and would definitely recommend it to someone looking for an item like this. ... show more

The AZBestpro works pretty well in assisting user both kneeling and sitting. Our flower beds and garden always require a lot of work from both positions and with knees not wanting to bend the way they used to this helps out. This unit provides a comfortable 1/2 inch thick high density foam pad for use in both kneeling or sitting orientations. When kneeling the side frame helps a bunch in getting back standing. And getting up from a sitting position the height of the handles make that easier as well. As my wife said" a whole lot easier than using a bucket". This unit will see a lot of use during our fall cleanup and even more during planting time next spring. The steel frame is welded well and the painted surfaces, cushions, tool holders and foot pads look good. The only concern that I have is that in the sitting position it feels a bit wobbly, even more so on a solid surface than in the grass. One leg isn't quite 90 degees straight while the other one is fine. It just feels a bit rickety, lending to a concern that if I am sitting on it working it may keel over endwise with a collapsed leg. The links that hold the frame in position are a bit lighter than I expected so even though the tubing will be ok I'm not sure of the other. In the kneeling position that concern does not exist because there isn't sufficient leverage to damage anything. Overall I believe you will find this tool addition useful. This will be a nice addition to my garden area. It will allow me to weed, etc without being directly on the graound. I love that it can also be used as as seat. It is a bit wobbly but I think it will still be okay.

This garden kneeler is made of good quality metal with non slip pieces on the bottom and is stable and makes it rust proof. It is sturdy and lightweight. It is versatile because it can be used as a kneeler or a seat. Just flip it over and it becomes a seat. It holds up to 360 lbs which is very impressive that anyone can use it. It has an embossed logo on the top of the seat. It is comfortable. It has two side bags made with good quality material and has Velcro on each one that helps it to not slide off. The bags are of good quality material and stitching. It can be used for your tools and gloves or whatever you are using. And the best thing is that is folds for easy storage. It is pricey though. I have to be honest with myself that my days of kneeling on the ground to work in the garden are over. I had been wanting to get an actual garden seat instead of using the small plastic or wood step stools that really had not been working well for me. So I will be using this as a seat, I will not be kneeling on this, just to get that straight. First off, this is light weight enough for me to hail around no problem. I also found it very easy to fold and unfold, a big plus. The optional pockets that I can velcro on the sides are nice too and came in handy. The foam of the seat/kneeling surface is cushioning. My fat black cat also wanted me to say that the foam on the seat works well as a scratching post (insert my angry face here).
