We got this for my wife so she could have her own fishing bag when we go out on shore or on our fishing boat. This bag provides a ton of space with a variety of sizeable space for all kinds of gear. This was very well made and strong material. The straps are strong and you can adjust them to accommodate any way you like.     • Roomy and versatile tackle pack
This tackle pack offers plenty of room and versatility. The movable divider separates the pack into large upper and lower internal compartments. The lower compartment can accommodate a stack of four 3600 size trays with enough extra room in front of the stack to place one more vertically oriented tray if needed. The top compartment is wide open and spacious to accommodate additional trays, reels, tools etc. The pack does have a thin foam layer sandwiched in between the outer material and liner....this provides some structure against pack collapse, but I personally would like to see a thicker foam used for more structure. The front and side pockets provide a lot of versatility for plastics, hooks, line, tools etc. The drink holder sleeve is a bit small in diameter and suitable for a disposable water bottle, but not large enough for my 20 oz. vacuum bottle. The rod holders are a nice touch for rods with relatively small diameter butts.....a chunky fighting butt will not fit into these rod holder sleeves. Straps and back panel mesh provide reasonable carrying comfort for short hikes, similar to most other tackle packs I've used. The included 3600 trays are decent, but not as nice as many other tray options out there. I've gone through a few various tackle packs and they all have pros and cons. As an eventual gift for my son, this backpack doesn't let me down. (1) Extremely well made of a heavy-duty, water-resistant canvas, entirely padded, and with MULTIPLE pockets, it comes with so many options for use, something I hadn't considered prior to its arrival. Though I bought it as a fishing backpack, upon receipt, I realize it's great for hiking, camping, day trips, job sites, even picnics! As a fishing backpack, it came with the four tackle boxes which fit as shown (2), and which can be accessed through the front, as well as the top. (2,3) Pockets for items such as poles, tools, sunglasses, food, phones are numerous and varied in size (4,5,6), with velcro straps to further anchor the poles. D-rings for hooking (7) I like the almost secret compartment in the back, between the shoulder straps. (7,8) Some of the front zippers are a little tough, but will ease up with use. I'm happy and even more excited, now, to give this to my son, now, because of its multi-purpose usefulness. I would definitely purchase again. Well-done to the manufacturers! ... show more

    • Plenty of storage and easy to carry
This is a nice, large tackle box/backpack. Pros: 1) 4 trays to carry your fishing accessories such as small lures, sinkers, swivels, Flys, etc.. 2) Pockets for bigger accessories such as reels, line, pliers, filet knife, etc.. 3} Velcrow tabs to carry your fishing rod. 4) Room in the upper backpack to carry a jacket or clothing accessories, on top of the tackle trays. 5) Light weight and well made. Cons: 1) extra gear piles on top of the trays which can be removed through an access point behind the trays. However, doing so would allow stuff on top of the trays to drop down. Blocking the tray when you want to reinstall it. A panel, stitched into the backpack to separate the upper storage area and the lower, tackle box area would be an improvement. Over-all though, it's an easy to carry pack that carries a good amount of accessories and assorted gear at a reasonable price. I know I'll get many years of service out of mine. ... show more

    • Great bag with a lot of pockets
This is larger than I initially thought it may have been. But this is a perfect fishing bag for me. I am able to store two collapsible fishing reels and rods on each side. It also has pockets in almost every single location that fits all my tackle easily and I have a lot so I have no complaints for this bag out all. The quality seems amazing and has already held up well in the rain. The additional tackle boxes were a nice feature and they are also high quality plastics. I like the fact that I can feel my water bottle and have it within the holder for easy access. The color is also very nice and looks good with the rest of my fishing equipment and is very comfortable to wear on my hike to the local lake. ... show more

    • Good backpack but weak zippers
I was disappointed when the backpack arrived with a busted zipper. When we unzipped then rezipped it, the zipper fixed itself. However, this makes me question the quality of the zipper. It has a good amount of storage and 3 good sized storage bins. Once again, this is great except the way it's laid out. If you have anything in the top of the backpack and pull out a tray. It will all fall down and make it hard to get the tray back in place. It's great for storage, but a layer to keep things from falling down would have been a good feature even if it was held in place with velcro. ... show more

... with a little ingenuity, could probably be used for quite a few other things. For fishing, though, unlike a lot of these-type packs, the plastic trays are included, and there's enough room here to take about everything you're gonna need for a fishing trip, even an extended one. It's well-made, the price is right, and just about everything except the rod, reel and lures are included. What's to complain about?
