I decided I should update my wife's car from the old decades-old inflator that has to be plugged into a cigarette lighter, to a modern battery powered inflator. I researched the different brands and Avid Power receives strong reviews, so that's what I chose. This is a great portable inflator that works well for our Santa Fe. It I flares quickly and is easy to use but it does not work with our Tesla Model Y and we bought it since it has a 12v adapter to have the flexibility of using a giant battery. We previously had an AstroAI inflator that worked well with the Tesla but it broke filling up a 60 psi spare tire so wanted to try another brand. Ordered a replacement Avid product thinking it had a faulty 12v adapter but the same issue occurs, runs for half a second and flashes low battery warning and stops inflating. Received the orange product. Have had for a couple of weeks and used several times, works great! The clamp-on clip is so much easier to correctly place on stem and once it displays psi and I set for what I need and turn it on, it's quick to fill up and then shut off. it was a life saver indeed. My rear tire kept losing air pressure. i couldn't bring it to the shop til my day off (2 days still). the gas station air pumps were not helping, so that night i looked for a portable air compressor. this product stood out with great reviews. it came overnight another plus. the portable battery that came with it was great, i do appreciate the plug in, because when the battery died the plug in was so handy, it was totally easy to use, i was in a hurry i didn't look at the manual lol. its a great item and its very important to have always. oh the shop found a screw embedded but all good now it's patched, but so grateful for this item and the overnite shipping was a lifesaver as well ... show more

I got this because the big compressor in the barn quit last summer. Going to the gas station to air up tires is a big PITB, especially with my Yukon that has bigger tires that take a higher pressure. Takes forever at the gas station. This works great and fast. I like the pre-set pressure as it stops when up to pressure. I also ran into a friend at a park one day and she was trying to use the "air station" in the park for a flat on her bike but neither of us could figure it out. I took her to my car where I had this and we filled her bike tire very easily up to 100 lbs. ... show more

I currently own three different tire inflators and this one is my favorite. 1-it’s very portable 2-it’s not as loud as my other ones, but it will still let your neighbors know you are using it 3-you can pre-program the desired psi and it will stay in its memory. My wife and son can easily turn it on, inflate their tires with no problem. Plus the automatic shut off when the desired PSI has been met is fantastic! 4-you just have to remember after you turn it on you need to click the trigger twice to start the pump and then after that it’s all automatic. 5-the LCD read out is also very helpful in low-light situations. ... show more

Inflated four auto tires to 35 psi in about 3 - 4 minutes each. It is easy to use and seems sturdy enough for light home use with standard auto tires. Comes in a convenient carrying case. it is comfortable held in the hand, but it works fine with the base sitting on a level driveway. The small instruction manual is translated into somewhat awkward English, but the instructions and diagrams are adequate to figure out how to charge and install the 20V battery and the 12V power source that plugs into the vehicle's cigarette lighter.
