Simple bike for those we will commute a few short miles. Easy assemble since it basically came “ready” but didn’t understand where to put the lights??? saw no right place. Others who reviewed complained about the welding but to me it doesn’t matter.

I purchased this as a gift for my wife for Christmas. We put the bike together in June (we live in the north east). During the FIRST ride my notice the peddle was hitting the kickstand. We removed the kick stand and of course all went fine until she continued to ride to notice the back break was rubbing against the wheel while riding and the back break was not working. To top it off the back wheel is wobbly which is why it is rubbing against the break. Although the seller initially appears to have a welcome to Avasta on the company address is in chinese and I can not seem to locate online. I have reached out to Amazon hoping to rectify the $300 purchase. Definitely disappointed as my wife is an big Amazon spender. :( ... show more

I RECEIVED MY BIKE AND HAD IT FOR THREE WEEKS WHEN ONE DAY AS I WAS ON MY MORNING BIKE RUN , THE BIKE STOPPED WORKING. I HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS WRONG. THE PEDALS JUST KEPT SPINNING AROUND BUT WAS NOT MOVING THE CHAIN. SEVERAL PEOPLE STOPPED AS I WAS WALKING THE 5 MILES BACK TO MY CAR. THE LAST GENTLEMAN THAT LOOKED AT IT SAID IT LOOKED LIKE THE SPROCKET WAS NOT WORKING. AFTER WALKING THE 5 MILES BACK I TOOK THE BIKE TO OUR LOCAL BIKE SHOP. HE TOOK IT APART AND SAID THE SPROCKET WAS BAD AND NEEDED REPLACING. NEEDLESS TO SAY I WASN'T HAPPY. I AM KEEPING THE BIKE HOPING THAT NOTHING ELSE GOES WRONG. ... show more

Bought for my wife. She really likes it, gears are easy to change, mounting and dismounting not difficult. Assembly was moderately difficult, I did like they provide all tools necessary to assemble.
