As a lover of Scooby-Doo, I would recommend this product to other Scooby-Doo fans or the Scooby-Doo fan in your life. It follows similar rules to the original Betrayal, but gears it more towards kids, so the gameplay is a bit easier. Mostly in terms of haunts and the death mechanic. There is only a ground floor and an outside to explore, which is a fun twist. The haunts are based on the nostalgic Scooby-Doo Where Are You mysteries which really put the cherry on top for me as a fan of Scooby-Doo and Betrayal. Would highly recommend! ... show more

Is very fun, the only thing I didn't like was that you could only have 5 players as I have a big family, but it makes sense with the theme so it worked.

I love the Betrayal games, and I was very excited to get this for my kids! I have a 10 year old and an 11 year old, and this is very fun to play as a family with them. I love that each game is different, and even if they pick the same mystery starter, you are going to have different experiences. We try to role-play the storyline or give it a bit more information when moving around the game; often I am the one who sort of dungeon master's the play through. It makes it exciting! "Daphne opened the door on the left of the dining hall, and found a hidden office." Often times there are clues or items that are found in the room as well, "Daphne found a clue under a painting...." ... show more

While this is simpler than the usual edition, it remains exactly as good as its original version. And every one of the Mysteries is based upon a Scooby-Doo story from somewhere among the cartoons. Fun enough to play in a quick few times in an afternoon and repeat plays in no way get boring. Just the right amount of "fun spooky" we have come to expect from Scooby-Doo. ... show more
