Bought this for a road trip to Canada from LA. We drove through the desert at 110 degrees and it kept everything cool and nothing spoiled! It's quiet and light enough to carry it into your hotel and use the wall plug to keep it cool while you are not in the car. It's also very attractive. The instructions are like all things from China, not easy to decipher - I still don't know how to get it to go into the low usage mode - but it worked great and I set it at 36 degrees and I kept a refrigerator thermometer in it the whole time - it was never hotter than it said and sometimes cooler but that's OK. Basically when you get it, take it out of the packaging but DO NOT plug it in for at least 24 hours as you don't know what happened in shipping and it may have been upside down which could screw up the compressor. ... show more

This cooler is AWESOME,! Not heavy, easy to carry with fold down handles, compact to fit just about any vehicle or house. The unit is extremely quite no humming or fan sounds. The control panel is easy to see and operate unit. Having the ability for use with AC/DC power makes it extremely portable. Holds plenty of drinks, food or freezer food. The unit cools down with in minutes all the way to -4 degrees F. I travel a lot from California to Texas and this will be so much better then using ice chest constantly having to add ice and drain water. I recommend strongly!! ... show more

Planned a cross country road trip this summer and wanted to avoid the need to seek out ice and deal with the issue of water logged food and the constant need to empty and refill a ice chest constantly. So I ordered this, and was super impressed that it arrived in very sturdy packaging, no damage whatsoever. Immediately realized that one small flaw in the design left the lid loose and didn't seal properly when closed and latched. Found it necessary to purchase some self adhesive weather stripping to create a gasket to seal the lid when latched. The second problem was the chain that kept the lid from opening all the way immediately came loose from the attachment on the cooler. Needed to remove the chain completely because it just didn't work like it was supposed to. Now for the good stuff, it worked incredibly well, had to watch the temperature setting (even in ECO mode) or it would freeze liquids if I set it below 38 degrees, however the smaller section of the cooler didn't get as cool as the larger section, that is another issue, but over all I'm very happy and the cooler was brought indoors every night to connect it to the wall power to keep it cold, moving it back and forth didn't bother it at all. It's so quiet too! Definitely was a superior choice, and I haven't regretted it for one minute! This is great for small families to use in an RV, or car, even camping too! ... show more

I bought this to have a extra freezer in my motorhome, it is still a big asset for or food storage, we also use it in our car when we go shopping because we live so far away from the store helps keep food frozen until we get home. Still working great, would definitely recommend.
