I've always used gravity feeders for my cats but the food kept getting stuck and it wasn't really doing what it was intended to do (I had to always shake the bowl to get it loose). So, I decided to switch to this and I'm glad I did. It works great and the cats have taken it right away. The bowl is a good size and it holds a good amount. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the setup was a bit confusing. The directions are okay and give you an idea but it took me a bit to get it to work like it's supposed to. Also, if the screen lock is on, if you hit the feed button before it's scheduled food time it won't drop the food. The screen has to be unlocked for it to work. I don't know if I read over it on the directions or not but I didn't remember seeing anything about it in there. It's also on military time which isn't a huge deal but that also confused me a little bit at first. Overall I would recommend this for people to buy. Love this pet feeder. Works right on time and you don’t have to worry with battery back up that your pet will miss a meal while you are away. Was very easy to set up. Just wish there was a guide to portion sizes based on the 1-20 possible feeing amounts.

Firstly, the feeders clock is fast so when I reset the time in the morning, by the end of the day, it’s three minutes fast. After a week it’s feeding my pet nearly a half hour early. Secondly, it randomly skips feedings and dispenses food at other random parts of the days. I consistently check the settings and there’s no explanation to why it does it.
