  • Looked Decent, Good Fit, Water Condensation Started after 1-Year
Purchased these replacements headlamps for my 2007 Tacoma, which were beginning getting hazy and the dealer wouldn't do anything about them since the truck was out of warranty. Installation was pretty easy, fitment was good and they were bright and shiny. However after a year I began getting water condensation in one of the lens, and it got worse and the other lens began to condensate also. I lucked out when I took it into the Toyota dealer for a service - they noticed the water condensation and said "Oh, that's not supposed to happen". Guess they thought they were OEM factory installed light assemblies (I didn't say nothing). They replaced them for free and I got two new headlamps, so only had these Amazon aftermarket ones for about 1 1/2 years. ... show more

  • Broken Tab
Raising back to 3 stars. Finally got them adjusted and aimed. Takes a lot of turns - I used a power drill with a 10mm socket. Cutoff is not as crisp as I would like. Overall they look very good. The bolt accessed through the wheel well is a total PITA but that's on Toyota. Took a bit over 2 hrs, almost half of which was spent on the driver's side bolt. The passenger side tab for the grill connector is broken off. Didn't notice it until I had it installed. Passenger side was easier than the driver side, and I don't think it was just from the experience of doing the driver side first. The lights and turn signals work. ... show more

  • These truly are worth it!
these made night driving so much easier that it literally hurts other drivers, I get flashed all the time and my brights arent even on! lol the reason I gave it 4 stars was that there are literally mo installation instructions so you need to research all of that, its not easy either. also I couldnt get to of my old bulbs unhooked so I just reused them in the new headlight, not really a design flaw of these lights though and now I have spares, just the fact that they come with all the lights is amazing! ... show more

  • Now I can see!
2006 Tacoma quad cab 4x4 with 165k mi - The top half of my factory headlamps were embarrassingly dull. AUTOANDART.com provided new replacements in a very timely manner, excellently packaged in separate containers, and at an unbeatable price! Actually, I figured their price would require me to provide my own bulbs. NOT! It wasn't advertised but all lamps were supplied in new socket assemblies. My son and I replaced the headlamps (from a different vendor) in his 2005 Tacoma last year, so I knew I could change both in about 1-1/2 to 2 hours. If you're procrastinating because you think changing 2005-2011 Tacoma headlamps is difficult, DON'T. There are several really good youtube videos to guide you thru the process. BTW, don't forget to adjust the headlights. You don't want to blind others with your new eyeballs. ... show more

  • Looks like a new front end! (For about a year)
Yeah baby! It's like I have a new truck! (See additional comments for longevity) ... and it came with all of the light bulbs already installed in it. I'd give this 5 stars EXCEPT for a lack of installation instructions. (Try the net) Fortunately I'm good with the tools and unafraid of failure. But beware; on a 2009 Tacoma there is one bolt which is under the bumper/fender that is a PITA. Yes, I took the 'easy way out' and yanked the light off of the screw attached there, popped the clip inserted on the light off, and used the screw behind the bumper to center the fixture. You'll see. Lined up perfectly, and there are 3 other screws hold it in just fine. After 100,000 miles, I'm OK with it. ... show more

  • Work great but you have to silicon seal them out of the box!
Lights work and come with their own bulb. Taking it out of the box you can see a gap where the plastic is joined together. I had to silicon caulk the gap so the lights wouldn't flood with water. Have had the lights for about a year now and the they haven't flooded yet and are working strong. Nice and bright. ... show more

  • KEEP THE BOX, GET A CAR WASH SAME DAY YOU INSTALL
KEEP THE BOX, GET A CAR WASH SAME DAY YOU INSTALL - I have to say price was a HUGE factor when I purchased these. I would just advise you to read the 1 star and 2 star reviews before purchasing. What they say is completely true. The lights work BUT I had one headlamp hold condensation, and this is a warranty issue and if you want it replaced you will pay $15-20 to ship it back to them because the warranty does not cover shipping. The angle at which the lights project is random, and I have not yet tried to re-position the projection, but based on the reviews I doubt it is functional. If I were you I would probably not purchase these, save yourself the headache and spend a little more on a better product. There is clearly a quality control issue going on here. UPDATE: Replacement light for light that was holding condensation is holding condensation. Don't buy these lights. Don't take the chance. Update #2: I posted new pictures after replacing these again, you can see how much water these things were holding and all of the algae produced. ... show more
