This scan tool has been a great tool. I had two issues with it, one where it wouldn’t boot up (I think it was something I did when I was messing around with apps) and I called tech support and they were able to email me the files to refresh the entire tool with a usb. The second issue was the screen started flickering and not working right at all when it was used for more than about 10 mins. I contacted the seller Jason Tools and he got me in touch with a lady from the Autel repair team and she had me send it to china where they replaced the screen and sent it back. It now works great. The scan tool has all the features you need to diagnose vehicles, I especially like the built in oscilloscope and multimeter that allow you to do all the testing right on the scan tool. I got my Autel Ultra scanner super fast and it's a solid product with all the adapters I need.I bought it for the topology mapping and it totally lived up to my expectations. It found 30 red modules and I quickly erased them all to make them green, saving me a bunch of time The Intelligent Diagnostics feature is also really cool. It gives me all the info I need to make accurate repairs and it works on almost all the cars in my shop. Shipping was absolutely terrible. Ordered Dec 2, was shown as delivering by Dec 9. I didn’t receive it until Dec 16. No notice that it would be late and zero customer service. No one would do anything about it. I would have ordered from the tool truck for this kind of service. Also, it states there is a year upgrade included which is a complete lie. It isn’t the tool that got a bad review. This scan tool is one of the best I’ve used in my career and I’ve used most of them. For those saying it won’t program or diag all makes and models is incompetent. Amazon and the seller are the reason for this bad review ... show more

I did a lot of research before buying this tool and so far I am extremely pleased with it! My techs have been able to accomplish everything they have tried with it where the scan tool we were replacing was unable and several times they have said to me how much they like the new tool and how much better it is than anything else they used before. Pros: The Ultra scanner does everything I need, from factory-level programming to 40 reset services. It has also added some pretty cool features. The VCMI has a built-in scope module that can perform a lot more functions than my old Snap-on tool. It comes with a docking station, a variety of scope leads, alligator clips, and plenty of accessories and adapters. Cons: The VCMI is quite large, and it needs to be activated. ... show more

Will not program anything but BMW and MB. Call and ask what it does.....they told me it does everything...Absolute lies. Will not buy anything from Autel ever again.
