I have been using this product for years now and I absolutely love the way it makes my hair feel. I have 4a, 4b and 4c hair and my hair receives it so well especially when wet. The texture itself is wet and creamy and holds very well. The scent is very nice, not to strong and overwhelming. I usually don't agree with a lot of hair products because my hair cannot take everything but this I can say does my hair pretty nice. When styled, the hair absorbs it and takes very well. I usually use this with a nice oil like African Pride oil and it pairs nicely. I usually wear my hair in the curly fro stage but any style I put in my hair it takes this product well. A even distribution of this product from root to tp can definitely provide you with better results. I bought this from a friend's referral and if you have curly hair you're used to the hype and then things don't work. This worked amazingly. I put it on my hair wet or dry and it accents my curls. I have somewhat thin but super curly short hair. Most products are too heavy or leave my hair greasy. This comes in a large jar for a very reasonable price. I use this mainly while my hair is wet, but works well to touch up after it has dried as well. After initial application out of the shower, and letting hair dry naturally, it does feel “crunchy” but a quick scrunching or running fingers through my hair leaves hair with soft curls that are neither crunchy or greasy. ... show more

Best Best Best. Moisture is key in this product and it's so light. For years, I could not find any products to use on my childrens mixed hair. I have a 3 year old who's hair is dry in the back and nothing I've tried has ever worked. And a teenager who we've tried many products and found some products good enough for use. Works great for freshly washed hair when you don't want a greasy look. Moisture is key in this product and it's so light. But this! THIS IS IT!!! The scent is lovely, I’ll give it that. It’s a bit floral, a bit perfumey. I could see how it might be too strong or overwhelming for some people though as it’s not a subtle scent. I have 2c/3a wave/curl and unfortunately, this is not the right product for my hair. It completely removes any shine from my hair making it look dull and almost fake. I also don’t like that it makes my hair feel super dirty. There doesn’t seem to be any hold so it doesn’t do my hair any favors and actually, I think weighs it down more than anything. I’ve tried it 3 times with 3 different curl techniques and have come out with straighter hair each time than when I have no product in. Probably worth a try if you’ve got a stronger curl or coil, I think, but didn’t work for me. ... show more
