I always seem to struggle with potted plants living and/or continuing to look as they did when I left the garden center. My mother had this plant on her back porch. It was lush and green, and the flowers were beautiful. I had to water it and I could tell the plant was real, but after a while I realized the flowers were not! They looked real, but they were not. I later did the same thing, and it was cool, but I still struggled to keep the plant alive. I decided to go 100% artificial. Two things, the pot was about 8 inches across, and I needed two orders of these to fill it properly. They look a little artificial at the bottom but filling the pot more helped. These are nicely made, but the color is pretty sparse ... nothing like the picture. Also, the picture appears to portray them as thicker and denser than they actually are. You will need double the plants that you predict you will need to enable you to fill a pot.

Our area has very restrictive water usage laws with very heavy fines if you exceed the allotted amount as a result of this all my plants in my backyard have died, so now I have gone to fake plants and this along with the others I have purchased look great and save me water.

I had high hopes for this set of faux plants given the reviews. Upon inspection, the actual stem is no where near as full as what is represented in the product picture, which is also just one stem. On top of that, one of the stems had two floppy “leaves” that could not be straightened. Anyways, it “will do” for now, but was hoping for more fullness from these stems. The media could not be loaded. Both the greenery and purple flowers are bold. The floral stems can be manipulated and the greenery spread out and filled out. Bother the stems and flowers are a water resistant plastic. These are excellent for using outdoors. I have used them for wreaths that remain outdoors in the rain, snow and sun. The cooors have withstood all the elements. I have greenery in the past where the purple flowers are covered in a powdery substance that makes it a challenge work with. This is nothing like that.
