I had originally gotten this for the cicadas lol Thankfully, they weren’t that bad so I didn’t have to use this. The netting was high quality and didn’t easily move, which I was worried about. Overall a good deal!

This is great for a small scale beekeeper, however it didn't work the best for me because I had trouble with my bees finding their way inside the veil. It could be that my bees are more aggressive than some, I don't know.

I use it when weed-whacking the grass near my hives in case my girls are feeling grumpy (they're sweet-natured Italian bees, but - hey - everyone has their off moments.). I bought one for my husband, and he really liked it, so I bought one for myself too. The shoulder straps hold the veil down very well, so there are no gaps for bees to enter. Received 2 of these crammed into an amazon shipping bag. They are soft so it wasn't a big deal but the top part of the hat was pretty deformed from it. It's come back some but not completely. The hat is small for my big American head, but it has stretchy elastic so it does fit. Everything else is OK. I don't care for the chin strap, especially with how snug this fits I probably don't need it. For the price it's OK, but I've had ones for 2x the money that were a lot better. This one will probably be regulated to 'just in case / car duty'. My only real concern about this one is whether it will give me a headache with wearing it for long periods of time due to how tight it fits. Time will tell. ... show more
