I use this in my apartment that doesn't have in unit laundry. We have onsite facilities but they're filthy and I'd rather not pay overpriced rates there either. I bought an extension cord to use with this as the attached cord is pretty short and I needed to fit the entire machine in my shower since my bathroom is so small. I leave the drain hose in the tub with a little mesh filter over it but tbh for some reason there's never really any lint in my hose filter or the built in machine filter. I use my showerhead to fill the washing tub and then to quickly rinse the clothes a little after draining the tub. There's a gentle setting and a normal setting. One just agitates the clothes more than the other. I haven't had issues with any clothes being damaged. Holds a lot of laundry. I do laundry once a week, just my clothing, a few towels, bedsheet, and pillowcases. I do the clothing together and then the towels and bedding together. The towels have to spin separately as they're heavy. Then I spin the bedding, then the clothing. Depending on what clothing is in there, you may not be able to spin it all together. For example, heavy clothing items have to be spun separately. You can spin a few heavy items together at a time and it's only 5 minutes per spin cycle. Obviously towels won't get fluffy if you spin and hang dry, they'll absorb just fine but be a little rough texturally. I hang dry my items on a rack after spinning. Spinning is absolutely necessary, you can't skip it or your items will drip water everywhere and probably get mildewy. Clothes come out great and fresh every wash and I like how much money I'm saving. The wash cycle is comparable to a dishwasher running but the spin cycle can get loud, like a blow dryer but obviously there are some floor vibrations. I am an upstairs neighbor so I try to be extra considerate and do laundry at the same time once a week (always early afternoon) to not annoy my neighbors. Only cons: Loud noise (unavoidable) and the machine does get water trapped, specifically in the drain hose. If you have to move the machine back and forth like me be careful to hold the drain hose upright and then loop it into the spin dryer to hold it upright or else you'll spill water. ... show more

I don’t usually write reviews but I gotta say this little washer/spinner is wonderful! It’s small and great for apartments or small spaces. I have a washer dryer hookup in my apartment but didn’t want the cost of new units or the risk of used so I tried this. I hooked the hose up to my hot water spigot and it works like a dream. I can easily do about 8 tshirts in a load but have to spin just 4 at a time. The spin gets them to just damp and I hang them on a drying rack with a fan blowing for the full dry. I do have to iron a few things but I don’t mind. And I still take blankets and such to the laundromat but I no longer have to trek there once a week. It’s not super heavy and can be moved fairly easily. It drains well but don’t go too far for too long when draining so as not to burn out the pump. It isn’t quiet but it isn’t majorly loud. (I put mine on a mat to soften the noise.) and it doesn’t take long to wash or spin so the noise is short lived. Also the seller is amazing and responsive! I emailed about getting a hose for the cold water spigot as they only sent one intake hose. (There are two intake ports on this machine) However the intake on the spinner side puts water into the spinner itself NOT in the wash side, not sure why you would want that? Anyway I also mentioned that I didn’t receive a user manual or any instructions. The seller replied within a couple of days and sent me an intake hose and clamps AND a belt for the pump and instructions! If you’re looking to ditch the laundromat and don’t produce a lot of laundry weekly then I would definitely recommend this product! It’s affordable and handy. I’m looking at getting a baby dryer because I will say that clothes don’t come out as soft and fluffy with this setup as they do after being in a tumble dryer. ... show more

After weeks of using this machine, here is what I think, and some helpful tips: THE WASH: - It washes pretty well, but not perfectly. You'll want to use a pre-stain spray on any stains or tough spots that may not come out in the wash - The lint collector in the washing machine does practically nothing BUT I found that you can put a variety of cloths or something inside to catch the lint and it does a 100 times better job and actually works a little to collect some lint. I found that cutting a magic eraser and putting it inside (fitting it properly between the area so it closes well collects the most lint. You can play around with textures and types until you find what you think works best. - It can actually fit a decent amount of clothing / sheets / towels inside. - When washing towels for some reason, for me, the towels were coming apart a little bit, maybe try washing on gentle to help with that - I have not had any issues with connecting to my bathroom sink and draining through my bathroom shower. NOTE: that the drainage hose on the bottom can be "connected" to go out either side of the machine so even though it's set up coming out of the right, you can look under and move it around so that the drainage hose is going out the left if needed. - You'll want to fill with water just above your clothing. Make sure your clothing isn't tangled together and if the water is filled to the tippy top, when washing it may overflow a little when it's being agitated. THE DRYER: - It does dry well, but don't expect your clothing to be fully dry, 95% of the time you'll want to have a clothesline or drying rack to air dry the clothing until it's fully dry. For me, I purchased a cheap $15 clothesline that is retractable, it works super well, you just mount it to your wall and then you can pull the wire out to hang your clothing and return the wire after you're done so it's only there when you need it. - Cat/dog/Pet-hair. (and lint) Ah. The biggest issue for a pet owner. I have 3 cats so I've tried many different types of solutions and it's a little annoying because as mentioned earlier, you should definitely put a cloth/sponge into the lint holder AND CLEAN IT OUT after every wash or two. But this doesn't get pet hair and not all of the lint. So while not the best, my current solution is the "chomchom" pet hair remover. It's a large, reusable, effective pet hair remover, I use this mainly for towels which is where I have the most pet hair trouble. You'll find that the Chomchom can be a little annoying to use but I think it's still the best option and if you have the patience, you'll see results. Of course, the more effective option is to use a dryer but if you're getting this machine you prob don't have a dryer. - 1 load of laundry in the wash will be approximately 2-3 loads in the dryer. - Takes less than 5 min to get as dry as it'll get ... show more
