The clock mechism does not work. It tells you to push the hands down over the tops. You can't both in. The small hand especially. The hole on minute dial can't be put on gently. Hole doesn't fit.

I specialize in highly personalized arts and crafts (shameless self promotion- Lucky Duck's Arts and Crafts on FB). I made this clock as a commission and it was very well received (customer paid DOUBLE the price that we had previously discussed). A few key points- this clock mold uses approximately 200mL of resin (I used a basic epoxy 1:1 resin). I don't know why the volumes are so rarely included in item descriptions. It's kind of a pet peeve of mine. Nobody wants to run out of resin partway through a project, right? - Make sure to make the middle of the tree trunk opaque enough so the clock mechanism can't be seen from the front. - I didn't use mold release but I had no issues unmolding (other than it still being a bit flexible because I was impatient with the curing time... it was totally firm by the next morning.) - I just wish I had more of the clock mechanisms because they are totally silent, unlike every other clock mechanisms I've gotten. ... show more
