I was highly impressed with this scope. It IS a remarkable piece of technology that they have put together. The scope does so many things and has so many capabilities, that you really do need to take the time to read the manual and understand everything, or you will miss out. I mounted on my AR-15.     • Optic won’t turn on
It worked for maybe an hour. Now every time I try to turn it on nothing happens. This is a junk product and no amount of troubleshooting will fix that.

    • Good thermal for the price
Makes a good starting scope for thermal. Have taken hogs out to 200 yards with it mounted on a 6.5 grendel. Thermal makes you want to throw night vision away.

    • Selling Counterfeit....DP NOT BUY
I purchased this thermal and did not get to use for a couple of months. When I did use it, it did not perform. I took it to a reputable thermal dealer and was informed that I was sold a counterfeit ATN scope. The dealer said ATN gets returns and then sends them back out. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT unless you want to throw away your money. ... show more

    • Can see everything at night.
It does take a little to get use to the thermal vision, but once you follow the setup in the manual, you can see everything that moves at night. I have seen rats, mice, owls, raccoons, possums, and coyotes so far. I just needed it for the rats, and it does a great job!!

    • Great thermal for the price
I got to test drive the 2-8X version before purchasing because a buddy of mine had one. After a night of hug hunting with it I immediately had to purchase my own. With the high degree of thermal resolution, sighting in was a breeze. I was able to see the paper target easily against the backstop even after 10-15 mins of being exposed to the same sun/heat as the background and after 30 mins plus, there was a decent distinction between the target and the backstop. The 384 image resolution is perfect for my needs as I will only be shooting at targets 100 yards or less. The high resolution unit (640) definitely clearer, a lot clearer, but again for my needs I couldn't justify upgrading. I did have an issue with the first unit they sent me and had to exchange it (which was a painless process and extremely fast). It would loose focus after every shot and I would have to manually refocus every time. The new unit does not have this problem. The only thing I have noticed with the new unit is I do see some slight screen interference when the wifi is on but nothing significant enough for me to want send it back and it may just be my unit. Unit would loose focus after initial shot. Removed from mount and tightened screws to no avail. Great capabilities with lots of bells and whistles, but blurring at first shot was a deal breaker for a 2700$ thermal. Returned.

Screen would freeze. Had to reset multiple times. Wifi would not connect to cell phone app. Returned it and received another one with same issues. Don't waste your time.
