    • Way off stated pH!!
Your pH measurements are only as good as your calibration liquids. And these were WAY OFF!! The 4.0 liquid came in at 4.40 and the 7.0 liquid came in at 7.20. That's way outside the stated 0.02 variation. The expiration date is 2018, so they should still be good. I wish it was worth returning them...I'm just out the money now. I was planning on using these for homebrewing. I got some suspect readings, so I checked these calibration liquids against a more reliable Milwaukee brand solution, and another one that came with my pH meter. Those two matched within 0.02. Then when I measured the Atlas Scientific brand it was a whopping 0.40 and 0.20 off. Unacceptable. Amazon should pull these. ... show more

I've ordered from this manufacturer for several years. Up until now, would have given five stars. Latest batch came in, gave me funny calibration curves on my Orion 250A (pretty good meter). None of my other pH meters could calibrate to this batch (errors). Went back to more expensive NIST traceable solutions and found the (advertised) 4.00 solution was 4.15. I think this is a pretty big deal. If I hadn't noticed my meter giving me weird calibration fits, I could have ruined some expensive wines. ... show more

this what i use instead of blue lab. it cannot be reused too much risk. i order it each time i run out. i wish that it came in larger bottles at a better price. i dont have time to shop for something cheaper. i am having way too much fun.

I was having problems with my pH meter and thought maybe the solutions had expired/gone bad. As it turns out, it was the meter so now I have some nice fresh calibration solutions to go with my new pH meter.

This kit worked wonderfully. I purchased to use at work because their pH meter had not been properly calibrated in a long time. I tried to explain that to management but they wouldn't listen so I was able to purchase buffer solution at a good price to prove my point!

    • Great stuff
It works great, calibrates accurately and seems to be a pretty good brand. It was around the same price as the other brands but Atlas rates their solution at 4.0 instead of 4.01. I know its not a difference but I would recommend this to buyers.
