  • This may not be Athlon's newest, but it is a great scope!
Style: APRS3 FFP MIL
I had one before, but it got lost in my move. I am so glad that I replaced it. The ED glass gives a clear picture at all power settings. I didn't see any loss in edges either. This time, as soon as I got it, I mounted it. Harder to lose that way!! Doing the initial box tests, etc., all came out great. I expected no less, and it didn't disappoint me. I have found Athlon to be a good company to stand behind their products too. Sure, it's not European glass, but I couldn't afford that if I wanted to. All in all, very pleased with this scope, especially since it's on the rifle now! ... show more

  • Glass clarity, awesome tracking and value
Style: APLR4 FFP MOA
High quality optic that is clean, crisp and super clear from edge to edge. Love the center dot on the reticle for finesse pin point aiming. Tracking is not only true but perfectly crisp and audible you can hear without taking your eyes of the target. Perfect zero stop every time. Awesome quality and performance at a reasonable price. Have it mounted on a factory stocked Savage 308 Model 10 FCPSR and printing 1/2" MOA all day long with hand loading. Have quite a few other 1K plus tactical scopes and I like this scope better. Athlon did a great job on this scope and will not hesitate to purchase again. ... show more

  • Worth every penny and more
Style: APLR4 FFP MOA
This is my first Athlon scope and it is fantastic. I zeroed it at 50 then 100 yards then spent the day shooting at 100 yards. The glass is clear, the zoom is smooth, and the turrets are easy to use with a audible clicks. Looking in the store at other scopes that are way more expensive I dont see why you would pay more and I definitely wont for my next one either. I think I will be sticking with Athlon In the picture you will also see the optional Athlon sun shade. Also I put Monstrum caps on each end of the scope ... show more

  • Excellent scope
Style: APLR4 FFP MOA
After shopping around for the perfect scope for my fx m3 .30 air rifle I finally came across this little gem. It was between this and the burris veracity. In the 200 dollar range, I will say the burris fullfield E1 scope is the nicest for the money but it's SFP so needed something different. I like the Veracity fov and eye relief, but I got kind of a rainbowish type of picture around the edges in brighter sunlight. The midas has a very clear picture, good fov and eye relief at max power. I just purchased a second for my tikka t3x ctr 6.5 creedmoor. ... show more

  • Lite solid
Style: APRS2 FFP MIL
Amazing product but just a little pricey for the brand. But it’s clear and solid. Nice look nice feel

  • Great scope for the money
Style: APLR4 FFP MOA
First of all, Amazon placed the wrong label on the box and I ended up with the MILDOT version instead of the MOA version. That doesn’t detract from my review of this product. The image quality is very good and clear out to at least 600 yards. I didn’t get a chance to try in on a 1000 yard range yet, but will update the review when I’ve done so. The turrets are very crisp and easy to operate. The zero stop is also very easy to set up. Parallax adjustment works as it should and the indicated range seems accurate. The only thing that I’m not fond of is the cover over the windage turret although with the Christmas tree reticle it matters a bit less. The subtensions are also clear and simple to use. All in all, it’s a good scope for the money, and at the time of this review, the price is $150 lower for this scope than on some of the mainstream sporting goods retailers. Your mileage may vary. ... show more

  • Not Illuminated
Style: APRS2 FFP MIL
This scope is great, but not Illuminated. I've gone through the manual three different times, and can't find anything about illumination. That's no big deal to me since the scope performs so well. Straight in line with bore when using scope mount bars. Elevation turret is in perfect alignment with plumb bob and center line of bore. Literally no adjustment made to winding to acquire 200 yard zero. Good, sharp glass for the price (and above). I'll attempt to do another review after seeing how the turrets track for a bit. I can't see how a better bang for the buck scope is available out there. Buy this product with confidence! ... show more

  • Crystal clear glass, and great tracking.
Style: APRS2 FFP MIL
The glass on this scope is crystal clear. I've compared it to a top of the line Nikon and Vortex, and I feel the Athlon glass is clearer. The tracking is dead on all the time. The clicks are very audible; you can hear them even with ear protection on. The FFP aspect of this scope is what sets it apart. The zero stop is easy to set, and there's no getting passed it once you set it. I would highly recommend this scope. ... show more
