Excellent performance at low light (dawn n dusk). 56mm objective lense, 34mm tube, 4.5-30x magnification, 110 MOA elevation, with illumiated reticle. What else can you expect. I own a March scope as well for PRS which all Japanese glass. I understand Athlon Cronus is Japanese glass and somebody mentioned that a rep from Athlon mentioned that Athlon Ares also has a Japanese glass. I've had several top end scopes in my career including night force and Vortex. This is a top end scope. Clear glass tracks perfectly more vertical and horizontal adjustment than any scope I've ever had or used, way more than comparable Vortex and nightmare, nice loud clicks. I highly recommend this scope especially at this price point. Shipping from Euro optics was exceptional I had this scope in less than 20 hours and it came clear across the country east to west. For the price it’s hard to beat. I used it on custom Kidd 10/22 and Tikka 6.5 cm. I compared glass with my friend’s Kahles 5-25 and honestly I didn’t see any different at least during bright day. Of course you couldn’t compare turrets with Kahles but its not bad at all. Trucking was perfect and I was able to hit the target at 1650 yards! ... show more

I have the Cronus btr, razor gen 1 & 2, Steiner and nightforces nxs and really am seeing this scope just as good if not better than some I own and this one cost the least. I really like the turrets on this scope, very audible and sound clicking. The windage lock is a plus as well. The floating dot is great in the reticle. I cannot find anything to complain about on this scope other than the eye relief is touchy at high magnification. Turrets have positive and very discernible clicks unlike I've seen mentioned in other reviews. If you can't feel and hear these then you have issues with touch and hearing. I admit I do not have experience with $3,000 and up scope's this is my first high end purchase but I don't see how paying twice as much can be twice as good as this scope is. It just isn't possible. Would not hold zero, jumped all over shot to shot. I have another one of the same scope that is perfect. I shoot 100 yds, 1000yds and 1 mile with it. This one won't sit still at 100 yds.
