Clear red dot, 2 moa size at low brightness is very small...small enough to place it in the middle of the bull with ,red all around it, of the 6" Shoot n See targets that I use in my back yard at about 40 yards. When I initially tried to sight it in the A/E adjustment would not work...then it started working, then it stopped and started again and has been good since. Once sight in it has held zero though I've only run 50 rounds through it (.223) Sight is small enough that I can shoot with both eyes open without issue. It aligns with my UTG 3x magnifier and definately provides better optics both with and without the magnifier than the UTG 4.2 Red Dot I tried initially. Comment/suggestion. 1. remember brightness when unit is turned off/on 2. reduce power off from 5 seconds (seems an eternity) to 2.5 seconds or better yet a tactile binary on/off button. It is annoying to hold the power button and then look into the sight to see if it's off only to find out that I must have only held it for 4 seconds and I still need to turn it off. 3. Need some type of lanyard for the A/E adjustment caps, even it it is only between the two caps....in the heat and/or frustration that can occur while sighting they are too easy to leave on the bench and get knocked on the ground and lost. a) Speaking of AE adjustment, If I have to use a tool, I actually prefer an Allen wrench because it is easier to use that tool than the screwdriver end caps included. 4. Love the CR123. perhaps a slightly cheaper LEOS version without the laser. 5. Would like an optional QD lever for mount. 6. Flip up caps seem to take a lot of force to open. 7. Need rubber slip-on dust covers for the laser A/E adjusters. UPDATE May, 19, 2018: Though a little tall, I purchased these plastic dome nuts, MagiDeal 10pcs M6 M8 M10 M12 Black White Dome Bolt Nut Protection Caps Cover Hexagon Screws - Black, M813 mm , for $2.69 delivered from Amazon (3 weeks delivery from China). I trimmed them down a bit but the dome is still a little tall but they fit great. Added pictures below. ... show more

    • Easy to Zero
I mounted this red dot on my AR. Worked really good from 15 yards out to 50 yards!! Beyond 50 it is to much for it in my opinion. I have not sighted the layer yet, this will the first thing for my next range day.

    • Disappointed
I was really excited to get this to the range. I followed the instructions word for word. Initially, I was able to get the hologram to get dialed in, then the laser. They worked fine the first time. Next time, the laser wouldn't zero. The third time, the hologram wouldn't either. Reinstalled it, but it seems like the adjustments barely do anything. It's completely worthless. I'm checking out other options. ... show more

Lemme just start by saying, BUY IT NOW before you even read the rest of this. The product is quite sturdy on the rails of an AR. It has one screw to sit atop of the railing. Not a super bulky piece of glass which is good. For the price, you can’t go wrong. I feel like its worth more than advertised. The buttons are very tacticle. The brightness levels are quite different from each other and drastic which is also good. I took it to the range and threw about 30 rounds and almost had it sited but the range I was at sucked. Nonetheless, the only “con” I’d have for this sight is that the turrets to adjust the windage etc; are some timey. Meaning, sometimes they’ll turn with minimal effort and sometimes they turn with a lot of effort. May be a defect on my unit but nothing too worrisome. Also, some of the adjustments click on turn and some don’t and it’ll rotate through about 2-4 adjustments or inches of change. The laser is extremely easy to site. And the turns on adjustments are smooth. Not click to them needed or necessary. Last but not least, the follow up customer service from this company is top notch supreme!!! They email you with a thanks, info, instructions, and even give you a pdf file of 3 different sight targets. That’s unheard of when it comes to customer service and I loved it! ... show more

    • A very nicely done sight at an excellent price - a winner!
The sight arrived very well packed in vey nice box that can be used to store it if it is off the weapon. It functioned perfectly, and installed very easily on my S&W M&P 15 Sport II. Haven’t had an opportunity to take it to the range to zero it in yet, but since it has lived up to all the reviews so far, I’m confident that this will be no problem. The controls are well positioned and work very well. Unlike another red dot sight I tried that required simultaneously pressing and holding two buttons to turn it on or off, this one only requires pressing and holding a single button. The brightness control buttons for the red dot are also well located and perform well, as is the on-off switch for the laser, which also works great. I gave it four stars for one reason, which isn’t a huge issue - that being the size of the red dot. The only other sight i’ve tried had a much bigger dot that was positioned inside a red circle, so it was very easy to locate and put on target. But the up side of my sight - its red dot is clear and easy to put on target as well, and it cost less than half the price of the other. So I’m good to go with the less fancy dot! ... show more
