  • Aguanta juegos del 2023
Style: ROG STRIX RX 580
Lo compre en la pandemia y esta tarjeta me aguanta todo los juegos. Totalmente satisfecho

  • You MUST flash the VBIOS! 5600xt Review.
Style: ROG STRIX RX 5600 XT
Let's start with saying this card NEEDS the VBios flash. I was getting pc restarts and display loss. Whether the card was at stock or overclocked. With the latest drivers and suggested utility. The only thing that fixed this was going through a VBIOS flash to the latest 14gbps version. After this all the problems seemed to disappear. The card now performs better than advertised. From 1650mhz to 1780mhz(1820 OC) and with only a 5° to 8°C climb in temperatures. Which this card has not exceeded 61°C during long gaming sessions and 59°C during stress testing. I do recommend this card, but I wish I'd know about the bios. Instead I spent two days trying to figure out if it was incompatible with my other hardware. Update: I think I may have gotten a faulty card. This is the 5th GPU I've worked with, but this has been the most consistently bad card I've used. So the card keeps resetting itself. Underclock, overclock, undervolt, overvolt, custom fan curve, power limit, graphic settings, drivers, utilities. Nothing seems to fix the issue of this card black screening and artifacting on anything Demanding. Such as High FPS or Ultra settings on AAA Titles. Constant errors all leading back to Direct x10, x11, x12 crashes, or "device disconnected" In the end of each crash the card will revert any settings prior to the crash. Running the card at stock will run low GPU dependent games. CsGO, smite, MW etc. With crashes on anything demanding; GTA V, SOTR or ROTR, The Division 2, Fallout 4, Ark: SE. The list goes on. I decided to test every title I own. I will be refunding this card. I'm hoping this was just a faulty card, because in the end, I do actually like the card. It gets me up to 125 to 200fps on MW, 100+ GTA V, Static 150 SMITE, 90+ultra TD2. So on so forth. So the cards performance IS there. Just dont know what the hell is wrong with the one I received. ... show more

  • Great card- as long as you get one that works
Style: ROG STRIX RX 5700 XT
As usual, no complaints with the purchase or delivery process. On to the card- These are fantastic graphics cards when you receive one in good working order, but admittedly it can be a little hit and miss. Having purchased at least four different variations on the 5700 XT, I’ve had plenty of time to get up close and personal with AMD’s NAVI architecture, as well as several of the AIB partner cards. Of the four, one didn’t function properly out of the box. It was plagued by many of the issues reported in various online communities- black screens, crashing- and things that are generally reported as driver issues. Having spent my whole life in the IT field, my drivers and firmware are always up to date, and the issues with the card followed it from system to system. Rather than abandon the product, I initiated an RMA and received a replacement. Amazon and the seller were completely reasonable and shipped right away. I’m happy to say the replacement card was plug and play and has functioned absolutely flawlessly. The performance per dollar is great. I’d buy it again or even recommend to a friend if asked for an opinion. However, I wouldn’t assume that random crashing is a driver problem. It’s well known that Asus had some QC issues with early versions of this model, but I’m happy to report it seems they’ve made the necessary adjustments. If it was truly a driver problem, the issues would’ve continued when the replacement was installed, but that wasn’t the outcome. It’s always a bit of a headache when something doesn’t work properly out of the box, but there are always going to be a percentage of failures. Overall I can’t complain, as the replacement has worked perfectly. ... show more

  • Great GPU, But with issues.
Style: ROG STRIX RX 580
The RX580 replaces a problematic Radeon R9 380 which constantly froze the PC. This happened while the Crypto miners drove the price of GPU’s through the roof. I have a Corsair Obsidian 750D full tower case so I have plenty of space for this RX580, an HX1200i power supply so I have more than power. My Motherboard is an ASUS Crosshair V Formula Z, with an AMD fX 9590 CPU. The installation was straight forward except I had to change cables the R9 uses 2 6 pin cables, the RX580 1 8pin cable, very nice. The 750D’s has a great cable management system which routes the cables in a space accessed from the right case cover. Windows 10 was a complete PIA with the installation. When I restarted after installation Windows 10 decided it needed to repair W10 so it sat there for a half an hour doing that. I had a minor amount of trouble loading the drivers. A clean install fixed that. Huge improvement over the defective R9 380. Much better rendering. I am not a gamer but I have almost 200 GB of videos loaded. The old SD TV shows have greatly improved picture quality, very pleased. But: I had one green screen of death which was apparently mitigated by a clean install of the drivers. This morning when I woke the PC up I had a flickering black screen. This is a known issue with this series of Radeon cards. I did the suggested fixes so we will see what happens. It is apparently a startup issue. I’ll just let the computet go to standby instead of me putting it to sleep. This issue is the only reason for the 4 Star rating. If I continue to have problems in the next few days I’ll Call Amazon for a replacement. Update: The suggested fixed have worked. The most common cause of the flashing black screen, according to Youtubes on the subject is the Windows error reporting service, it is now disabled. The 2nd as much less come is iCloud on your PC. I don’t usr iCloud on the PC so I deleted it. ... show more
