Got phone, international version so had trouble using with att. Finally got it working. A week after receiving I wake up and phone says android data corrupt, had to do a hard reset. Everything that was supposed to be in the box was there, phone, charger adapter for wall, Type-C cord, instruction booklet. NOT the AeroActive Cooler X. That item only comes with the Pro Edition, not the Pro. The Pro edition is the 1TB 24GB RAM version. All other things were NEW and as advertised and boxed by ASUS. The phone is pretty nice, the gaming performance that you come to expect from the ROG phones with some nice improvements. The headphone jack is always appreciated, along with the ultrasonic triggers. Great battery paired with fast charging. I'm not a fan of the hole punch camera, but I can live with it. For the price of this phone I feel like the Aeroactive Cooler X should come with, I know it does in the "Pro Edition" but this is still 1.2 thousand USD. The main reason this is 2 stars and not 4-5 is because of the seller, Mobile Advance. The phone went on sale from $1200 down to $1080 just after I had purchased it. Even after calling their number twice and emailing them once, I have not received any kind of support, no acknowledgement whatsoever. Avoid Mobile Advance if you want good customer service. - Update - Mobile Advance refunded the sale price to me today. I'm updating the score due to this. They took two days to respond to my first email and three days after that for them to refund me. I'm grateful that they did refund, but I will say that they're still pretty slow on the communication front. ... show more

Overall the phone has been good and works as delivered, however, gets a lower rating because the listing is incorrectly saying this is a US version but it is not. The phone they delivered is the international version. There are some minor difference and each person needs to ensure the cell bands available on the phone work with your carrier. I was able to connect the international phone to T-Mobile's network and get 5g connections here in the US. Some other nuances of the international version is the charging pack is different, but they did include a US adapter in the box. In addition the default language on the phone is not English. It is plug and play for T-Mobile, just works right off the bar. Also works on AT&T but have to enable VOLTE via a dial #. Might need to contact AT&T to know what # to dial on the phone number pad. The phone is a great piece of kit. I also have the Asus RoG 7. Some have doubted that the 8 Pro is downgrade but I agree and disagree at the same time. A smaller battery, front speakers are now top firing and a camera punch hole on the screen are the only negatives I found. The positives on the 8 Pro are noticeable to me. Better and brighter AMOLED screen, speakers slightly louder, Dirac is tuned better, wireless charging, way better camera now and now an easier grip to one hand usage. ... show more
