  • All you probably need
Pretty good motherboard as far as I can tell. Have had it installed for about a day now. Everything works, only things I would make sure other buyers know are it doesnt have wifi/bluetooth, and the m.2 slots are sortof elevated like 1/2 inch off the the surface, not sure how common that is, but it took me off guard. They work like they should though. Only one rgb header and one USB 2.0 header. Does have good bios and overclocking. ... show more

  • Good stable little work horse.
Good stable backbone for my 9th gen Core I5 workstation. Comprehensive layout takes advantage of CPU heatsink airflow and case airflow to help keep critical components cool. As to be expected with Asus boards, bios is laid out well with many options and tweaks not found on many competitive boards. Impressive speed from both M.2 slots. I also do some light gaming on this system, and have no complaints about the performance. The only issue I have with the board is the position of the lower M.2 slot in relation to the Pcie slot. I use aftermarket heatsinks on my NVME drives and there can be interference issues with aftermarket heatsinks and larger graphics cards. ... show more

  • Not a great board
I am not sure if I got a bad board but I have had nothing but trouble since I purchased this board. I purchased this board over a year and half ago and I have had nothing but issues with it. The first issue I had was the audio would randomly cut out when I had discord up. I would have to go into the settings and change the audio card to a different one and then back to get it working again. This was with the onboard and my logitech gaming headset. I did a BIOS update and that seemed to resolve the issue. The other issue I was having was the motherboard would randomly freeze up when I was gaming just for a couple of seconds. That is a big deal if you are in an FPS. I did a BIOS update and that issue seemed to go away and left me with another one. The computer no just randomly reboots. It could be while gaming or while I am encoding a video or it could be when I am doing nothing (event viewer shows this). I have done every BIOS update and any other chipset update that is available but with no success. I have tried to contact support about the issue and they have not been able to help me with it at all. The last time I contacted them I never got any response for over 10 minutes. I have submitted an RMA as I found out I don't need support for that. But now I have to send this thing back to ASUS before I can get it repaired. Which sucks as now I have to take everything a part in the case and send it all back. I also will loose the windows 10 product key as it is mapped to the motherboard. I am more tempted to purchase a brand new motherboard and throw this thing in the garbage. Normally I have nothing but nice things to say about ASUS but this one is better in the garbage. UPDATE: Never got the RMA. Looks like I am going back to Gigabyte as they have a better product then ASUS. UPDATE: I contacted ASUS again and was able to get an RMA for the board. Sent it back to ASUS and they are sending me a replacement board (I guess they found an issue with it). I ended up replace the board with a Gigabyte board with all the same components and have had no issues with it. I guess I have another board I can build a rig around. Which is what I am looking to do now. ... show more

  • Great motherboard
Excellent value motherboard. Super easy to install and set up, even flashing the BIOS was simple and I had never done it before. The box does not come sealed with tape, so I'm not sure if it was previously opened. The cardboard tab holding the box closed was somewhat "loose" so who knows. I am not sure what cables it should have come with since this is my first new motherboard purchase. Mine had a tiny bag of screws, a bag with 2 black SATA cables, and a bag with the i/o shield. I've been running my setup with this new mobo for a few days and have had no issues. ... show more

  • Good for cheap mining rig MOBO
Works fine for my mining rig. I5 9400f worked out of box and would accept my 3200Mhz crucial ballistix ram albeit would only run at 2666Mhz. Runs 24/7 and has been for over a month and a half no issues.
