  • A little expensive but comes through.
While this was above retail, not really much option for getting a guaranteed retail price one, still prompt delivery a day early and perfectly working example. 4 stars only cause it's scalped.

  • Great Power Needs Great Cooling
When I got the card, I was absolutely ecstatic. But later on, I started having problems. It all started about two months ago. I was streaming and playing Spyro on my computer, when all of a sudden it crashed. Completely. No error codes, the only indication was the motherboard gave a video error light. Wasn't until a forum suggested I try improving cooling within my case, so one trial/tribulation upgrade later, and now my system is better then ever, and graphics card runs like it should. When it works like it should, it's super fast, and has an amazing amount of memory to boot for this generation. This card is easily able to take on any game or rendering program I can toss at it, with only minimal stress after the upgrade. I would recommend this, but only for those with the pre-requisite that you have more than sufficient cooling in your case, and you really tune the fans in your case, your processor, and fans. ... show more

  • Only get if you are desperate
Highly recommend you have good cooling and stable power. I would recommend getting a 1000w PSU if you are considering this, my 850w PLAT. was not enough.

  • Very mixed bag
Got this same exact card but from newegg. I paid a little over $700 for it, but it took a long time due to going out of stock seconds after being filled. Card ran great and cool for a little over a month with no issues, until I started experiencing crashes. As another review posted here mentioned, no blue screen, just complete crash with black screens, and the gpu indicator light active on the motherboard. Had to hold power button down to be able to restart. The crashes seemed to be fairly random at first, but then I noticed it most often occured when gaming and having a youtube video or other type of video up simultaneously. I at first figured it was due to maybe another component. I have replaced the B550 board with an x570 (after multiple bios upgrades and removing any OCs), and the psu from a 700w to an 850w. I know the ram works as it has been tested. I have tried both optional and WHQL drivers using DDU. I tried using just the ASRock tweaker software which their support recommended which honestly made it worse. I even updated the VBIOS too. Last ditch effort was to swap the psu VGA cables to have 2 open slots between them instead of using 2 right next to each other. This will depend on PSU. This seems to have lessened the frequency of the crashes, it no longer crashes when watching a video while gaming, but it does still occasionally hard crash. With this accomplished, I no longer outright regret buying this card, but oh boy this has been a ride. Unsure if possibly case not cooling effectively as the other review mentioned may have played a role, though temps do not support this theory at present. When working, I can get the card to a stable 2300-2400MHz OC. The cooling solution seems honestly overkill for this card, its kept below 75c even when pushing it. I think this cooler was meant to also be used for the XT version and is quite large. It has about an inch clearance from my front radiator. Buy at your own risk. EDIT: Card completely stopped working a month after posting this. Bought a 6900xt from a different board partner. Id steer clear of ASRock's gpus. ... show more
