This board was everything I wanted and then some. It is the only B650 board that I am aware of that also has PCIE x16 gen 5 for GPU's. You normally will only find that on B650E boards. If you are going for a white AM5 build, I highly recommend the B650 Steel Legend Wifi. I'm not a huge fan of ASRock Polychrome for controlling RGB, but OpenRGB works flawlessly with it. Also, a good amount of PCIE lanes and NVME slots. Very easy to build with. Looks absolutely incredible as well. Plenty of IO options as well. A great board at a great price! ... show more

Not a bad price and it works really well. I put a Ryzen 9 7900X and 32 gigs of DDR5 ram, pretty dang fast after it figures out the ram settings. Which most of these boards do the same thing. Very impressive boot times and pretty solid.. no BSOD's! I am happy with my purchase and I do recommend this board. Up until a few years back, I had never heard of Asrock. For the price, this motherboard is pretty awesome. It's small but packed with features like WiFi 6E, DDR5 support, and even an M.2 slot with a heatsink. My only issue is the fan connectors—there are only three 4-pin ones. That means you can hook up one CPU fan or AIO and only two extra case fans. So, depending on your case, you might have to be strategic about fan placement to get the best airflow. Otherwise, you’ll need a 4-pin fan splitter, which can mess with your cable management. I’m sure this is a great board if it works. I’m actually in the process of a return with Amazon. Double/triple checked all connections. Cleared cmos and flashed the bios, even returned the ram and bought a new set hoping it was the easier fix. But no. I get power, all fans spin and rgb will function. But it will not post. Mine also did not come with a manual, so I looked online which was not a terrifically easy process. Bummed, but this happens from time to time. Not an indictment against Asrock, but giving it a 1 star for it not working. With the lack of selection across the board for mini itx am5 builds, and dang near all of the mini-itx motherboards having the warning that it’s frequently returned… this process reminded me of what I should’ve done in the first place. Motherboard works as it should it is shipped with no bios updated so I would suggest you update the bios as it's more than a year old or so.... Second after updating bios make sure you reset the cmos because I had terrible instability after bios update but after resetting the cmos everything runs smoothly and boots pretty dam fast into windows. Lastly I would suggest using expo ddr5 only I know some kits say Intel xmp and expo but my 1st kit was silicon power that had both profiles but it wasn't stable. I now use G skill trident Z 6000 CL30 very fast and very stable with my 7600x and ASRock motherboard. Most people forget to reset cmos after a big bios update but it's simple on this motherboard since it has the pins made for that cmos reset. The media could not be loaded. This product is fantastic. I downloaded the bios file from the manufacturer website. Renamed it like the instruction manual for this motherboard said to do. Put the update on a USB stick. Put on the 24 pin power connector On the motherboard. Turned on the PSU. Put the USB stick in the designated USB drive port And I pressed The flashback bios button. Waited for it to finish. Installed the processor And the ram. Set up my computer And waited one minute for it to post and everything went well. Unlike my experience with the I-9 processor and the Z790 motherboards Which was nothing but a Catastrophic fail. This motherboard and a 7800 X 3-D CPU are a match made in heaven for a gamer that wants to game only, It’s good for productivity in my honest opinion as well. I saw this motherboard had no reviews and was very worried but rest assured The appearance was well, The pins weren’t bent, The bios worked correctly, And best of all it’s much more cheaper than an Intel motherboard. I go for this motherboard because it’s an excellent value For an excellent price. An I-9 processor like the 14 900 K And ASUS ROG z790 motherboard Is about almost $1000 Compared to this motherboard and am AMD like the 7800x3D processor which is exactly $600 is $400 cheaper and performs better. ... show more

The board itself is totally fine and does everything I need it to do except for one thing. The ethernet port is broken on mine. It's not a matter of drivers either, as the driver couldn't install because no compatible hardware was detected. I updated to the latest BIOS and did a fresh win10 install and had the same issue. Rather than return my board and be without a working PC for weeks, I've simply ordered a usb-c 2.5g ethernet adapter and I'll just keep that as a permanent fixture in my back usb-c port once it arrives. Hopefully I just got unlucky and this isn't going to be a widespread issue with this board. ... show more
