  • Great performance Good price
Style: RX 7700 XT Phantom Gaming 12GB
When Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 can out, I went to run on my system, and the video card I had was not compatible. Did not support DX12 Ultimate. So, I purchased the ASRock Phantom Gaming RX7700 XT 12 Gig. The card runs the game great, and the graphics are sharp and smooth. The card is large, I went from GIGABYTE RX 580 GAMING 8 GB that is 232mm in length to this card that is 328MM in length and my old Corsair Vengeance C70 case is not as large as the newer cases. I had to remove one of the fans that are in front of the motherboard just behind the 3.5 HDD tray. The card is easy to install and requires 2 x 8 pin, I like that the card has a nice backplate and the RGB is OK. The only complaint I have is that the RGB cannot be controller by Corsair ICUE. no plugin (yet). Other companies like ASUS, MSI have plugins for iCUE, Have not had any stability issues, noise and temps are fine. Runs Hogwarts Legacy, MSFS 2024, Diablo 4, and other games great. No complaint on performance. Price was around 450 good mid-tier card ... show more

  • rambling review with some metrics maybe
Style: RX 7600 Challenger 8GB
The media could not be loaded. Good GPU. bought it for an upgrade from the draft horse that is the RX580 and upgraded to a gasoline engine. for the purpose of playing VR games. have had it for a couple weeks(?), ill update it later on if somethin breaks. Numbers dont mean everything, it isnt 600% better than the RX580, The little 'XT' part actually means something, but this suits my needs and more! I pretty much MAINLY play vr games, Runs these vr games at medium/high/ultra graphics cpu: amd ryzen 5 4600g ram: 32gb ssd drive + hhd drive for backup gpu: Amd Radeon RX 7600 [high-ultra, 80-90fps, 1728x1824] Pavlov VR [medium-high, 72-80fps, 1728x1824] Hotdogs, Horseshoes, And hand grenades. [medium, 80fps, 1728x1824] Contractors [medium-high, 80fps, 1728x1824] Onward VR [an rx580 ran this game at 90fps.] Beat Saber i mean your performance might vary a little bit, i use a quest 2 with virtual desktop mainly, depends on the software, encoder, decoder, if your playing with a wire (rip wired quest2 pcvr), etc. Im not sure the 2d games i play are even deserving of this great gpu [1920x1080, 120FPS, Roblox 10 graphics] Weaponry [1920x1080, 120FPS, Roblox 10 graphics] ATF8 Wintertide [1920x1080, 120FPS, Roblox 10 graphics] Plane Crazy [1920x1080, 60FPS,] Minecraft (but with voxel shaders ooo!!!) [1920x1080 at 90% Resolution, 60FPS, higher-end render settings] Voices of the void [i play this mostly on my phone.] Mindustry If your willing to overclock, undervolt or whatever the heck, AMD Has a built in software to let you do it yourself! Though, past 3000mhz on this GPU, it will just have a driver failure. ive done this many times, mostly the GPU resets itself and lets you do it all over again. still works great! i keep it at the AMD's automatic undervolting option since im too dumb to mess with the dials myself without some crash mid-game (annoying), it does actually boost performance in a tight margin, for example, I was now able to run mainly ultra settings on Pavlov VR. i suggest just using the automatic options anyways, your computer knows alot more about itself than you probably know about it and the margins are marginal. will fit most power supplies and motherboards, (gp-650 is mine, likely overkill.) though note the fans are actually mounted on the underside. my rx580 was the same way. wish it was on top but it makes mechanical sense since it doesn't want to collect dust, literally. video notes: during this, my gpu was quiet. Not as a mouse, but even while running this stress test, they never got loud enough to be noticeable under headphones. this might change overtime as the GPU fans wear out and start ringing against the fins like my old one did, it still wasn't loud enough to notice under headphones. Easiest installation! The old GPU I had was used, they are kinda hard to install since the metal gets bent out of shape for being in the same case for probably years. Fresh from the factory, or at least still in box GPUS are extremely easy to install. though buying used is cheaper and you will get more bang for your buck (probably.), its still nice to buy a brand new one and feel like a kid again opening a Christmas present. If you bought a prebuilt and are putting a GPU in it, (like i did) your probably gonna have to dig around in the rats nest of wires to find one 8-pin Power connector. that's what this GPU needs. and most gaming pcs will have at least one. (if power supply is 550 watts or greater). that was the hardest part!!! its like inserting a bulky ram stick really. make sure to set the pc on a table though, lying flat. i think thats all i have to ramble about this graphics card, ill add more if something goes wrong ... show more

  • Best price to Performance high-end GPU, Don't be an fanboy excise your options
Style: Graphics Board
I was looking for an upgrade from my RTX 3060 and I've looked at alot of benchmarks and reviews of the AMD 7900XT and I was a bit unsure because so many people would say how bad they were and originally i wanted an RTX 4080 super but 1000$ felt like an scam to pay that price just for 16 GB vram , so I went in optimistic and hopeful and honestly if someone was looking for vale I would recommend AMD because they don't limit vram on there GPUs if you're gonna pay 1000 dollars for an RTX 4080 it should at least have 20GB of vram like RX 7900XT so I got 7900XT for future proofing my PC and I did not care about raytracing because even on an Nvidia card it tanks performance too the point you have to use upscaling, mind you I did try raytracing on the 7900XT it is capable of it but not the best also I did have an driver with fortnite dx12 which would have been a deal breaker for me but I don't play fortnite I did try it again it works perfectly now I was experiencing low fps but I had to turn of nanite once I did that I got the fps I was hoping to get but so far it has been able to run every game I threw at it at max settings in 1440p and 4k and I will say this is a solid GPU for maxed out setting at 1440p and 4k gaming for 700 bucks and it beats the RTX 4070 super ti and is on par with the rtx 4080 and this my on honest review from someone who is not an fanboy of any gpu brands this review is to tell people to Excise there options don't just select a brand because you like the brand select value to Performance BTW I still prefer team Green but team red is pretty good and has an better app than nvidia plus the card is good for productivity AMD AV1 encoding steam is actually pretty decent in obs. ... show more

  • Worth the money
Style: RX 7600 Steel Legend 8GB
Brand new PC owner, changed out my old GPU my PC came with and installed this a few weeks ago. Running a triple monitor setup without issue, it's a huge and hefty GPU but absolutely beautiful. Parts feels very high quality and this is a nice GPU. Most demanding game I've tried so far is God of war, unfortunately it's not perfect and did experience some lag spikes and frame drops when I had it on ultra settings. Changed it to high and lowered shadows and non noticable things and it ran smooth around 60FPS for most parts of the game. Not the best GPU in the world but for the price it can't be beat. Just a little more expensive then Intel's B580 but from what we've seen a good chunk stronger. Highly recommend buying. ... show more
