  • ASROCK Makes a Great product
Style: RX 7900 GRE Steel Legend 16GB
The card is very well built and the cooling solution is fantastic. Also, the card is designed so well it does not sag at all, which is crazy for the size of the card. The 7900GRE Steel Legend is a great deal with 16GB RAM. Was choosing between the 4070 Super, but DLSS (I play at native resolution 1440p anyway) and Ray Tracing seem gimmicky. RT is a great concept, but not worth performance penalty between Nvidia and AMD cards. The 7900GRE is a better value and trades blows with the 4070 Super. ... show more

  • Very pleased!
Style: RX 7900 XT Phantom Gaming White 20GB
Card is absolutely beautiful. I would but this card 100 more times. Great performance. Size is awesome in a nice open case. With the right case it looks amazing. RGB is amazing on the front of the card with the little clear plastic and the PG logo engraved on it. Bottom of the card is nice as well.

  • Excellent gpu
Style: Graphics Board
I came from an Nvidia 2080 T overclock, founders edition and all I can say is the 2080 TI couldn’t come close to touching what this card can do. I am running at 80% running 34 40 x 14 40 and on COD modern warfare three I’m pushing 240 FPS I don’t see the point and even turning the overclock on this thing is super fast, super strong and runs cool with no problems. I definitely recommend this card. ... show more

  • Pro's and Con's
Style: RX 7800 XT Steel Legend 16GB
Great card! It beats the 4060 and has twice the VRam! Pro's: Looks great Has a lot of power vs the price 3 Fan model so it runs ice cold 16 GB of Vram -comes in handy on the new AAA games Con's: Ray tracing is not the best (Ray Tracing should be used more for higher end graphics cards anyway) FSR upscaling is good but can be more refined in the future. ... show more

  • Relatively painless RMA
Style: RX 7800 XT Challenger 16GB
Summary: I'm happy now, but I had to return the first one I received. The card I originally received performed fine but was running very high hotspot temperatures, 30°C above main GPU temperature. I was concerned about that, so I contacted ASRock customer support. After a couple of emails back and forth, they agreed to replace the card. I had to ship it back on my own dime, but to ASRock's credit, they immediately sent me a replacement card and I only went 6 days without a GPU, which is remarkably fast turnaround. The temperatures on the new card are much better (20°C delta), so I'm happy now. Pros: I had no issues with installation, setup, or stability (fully AMD system with 7800X3D CPU). The card looks pretty cool installed. The replacement card I received runs relatively cool and quiet at default settings. Cons: The first one I received was running hot, so I ended up having to return it for a replacement. Also, the fans get significantly noisier if you increase the max fan speed by even a little bit. ... show more

Beautiful and great performing card. Has some coil whine in certain games and had a small chip in the paint on the brace. May have been user error but I am not sure.

  • this thing is a absolute beast of a gpu.
Style: RX 7900 GRE Steel Legend 16GB
hello everybody with the asrock steel legend 16gb gpu you can expect to go from: damn son whered you get this potato straight to damn son lemme buy that gpu when you upgrade!!!!! this things encoder? absolutely insane with av1, h265, and h264 support. what kind of encoding performance can you expect? well i stream to 4 platforms with it on a single pc with no capture card or gimmicks. just multiple output plugin and obs and it streams AND plays my games to all four platforms without a hitch (after encoder optimizations: twitch trovo and kick get h264 and youtube gets av1. while streaming to so many platforms there is a slight performance hit in game but it can be mitigated by going av1 balanced and h264 w/speed and baseline presets. ***while not streaming this card plays many of my favorite triple a open world titles at 1440p with 120+fps and 4k easily at 48-80 fps which is okay with adaptive sync and my monitor. very few games need settings dropped at all. and most games run fine with native fsr 3 AA without using their upscaling. few run better with fsr3 upscaling like wz. black ops 6 performance is 60-120fps round 50 while QUAD STREAMING ON THE SAME PC and 120-144fps with no streams being encoded. its truly insane the performance you get the ONLY issue i notice is when overclocking if you safety reset due to overclock it can sometimes lock you out of smart access memory until you disable and re-enable in bios. would i recommend this card? absolutely. why spend 700 on a 4070 with 12gb or vram when you can have 16. cod wz will use up to 14gb of vram so why settle for less ram for more money? i hate to say it but if a free game is utilizing that much and you can have 16bg for 550 would you spend 700 on 12gb really? didnt think so. first time i got 60fps in red dead 2 1440p with the locked dx12 settings unlocked and maxed out. phenominal. a now heres the ray tracing: will it beat a rtx? heck to the no. but will it contend with it at medium to high ray tracing settings? cyberpunk 2077 says yes. star wars outlaws also says yes. hands down theres no reason for team green anymore. the 7900 gre is the best price to performance ratio ive ever acquired. period. no im not afflilated just a streamer who hated lagging on a 6750xt and thought that would be a beast for 1440p. and with streaming and gaming that card just cant perform. this one exceeds expectations across the board ps the 7900 gre memory overclock limit was a software bug that has been patched. ... show more

  • AMD GPU Software and Hot Spot Issues
Style: RX 7900 XTX Taichi White 24GB
I unfortunately cannot recommend this product. I thought I did enough research but unfortunately there were still issues with this card. The graphics card experienced hot spot issues when running higher graphically demanding games in 1440p ultra. While that’s a graphically demanding specification, this card should be able to handle that. For example, when playing Red Dead Redemption 2, the GPU temperature on the outer sensors would read around 55 C (great temp) with a hot spot of up to 97 C. The 40 C delta likely indicates poor pasting or mounting within the GPU itself which can only be solved by RMAing the card for replacement or replacing through Amazon. To add to this, after 2 weeks of moderate load on this card, I started experiencing constant frame stuttering like every 10 seconds which ruins the gaming experience. Even when I turned down settings this would still occur. I believe this may have been an issue with the recent driver update. AMD makes great cpus but this is the reason these cards are not valued the same as nvidia. Market competition is important and I hope they can improve but I will unfortunately be returning and switching to a 4080 super hoping for better luck. ... show more
