It was a little difficult to install but I would blame that mostly on Dodge and the stupid design they chose for the mounting bracket but ultimately the alternator did fit and works just fine I can't speak to its quality just yet as it hasn't been in the car for more than a day but I'll update this review in a year or so to see how it's going. The alternators from AutoZone for the 2011 Dodge journey were and I quote 450 to $500 That's ridiculous in my opinion $106 is a pretty good price bit of advice if you're planning on changing the alternator in a 2011 Dodge journey be very careful with that top radiator hose I accidentally broke the fitting and now the car needs an irradiator this has nothing to do with the alternator but I figured I'd mention it for anyone trying to repair their car by themselves. ... show more

    • The alternator was a total dud didn't work!!!
Unfortunately it took me a while to get my car into a mechanic to install it . Also I financially needed a little more money to afford me to have it installed. After all was said and done it's been determined that the alternator was no good!! Very upset.

With much patience and adhering to the youtube video for your particular vehicle, you can save hundreds of dollars. Replace the serpentine belt also.
