Not easy to use, especially as far as getting the same line up on both sides. No instruction manual included. YouTube videos were not professional and were just made by random people using it, who really didn't explain how to line it up, get it even on both sides, etc. It does help you make sure your lines are straight, which is why I gave it 3 stars and not lower. You just have to be super careful how you line it up, and be consistent on both sides. You might want someone else to help you with it when you do it, which almost defeats the purpose (why not just got to the barber?). I found that my 5 blade regular razor worked better than a straight edge type razor, by the way. Using a straight edge razor without cutting yourself, burning/blemishing your skin or even damanging your skin is an art best left to barbers or those under the instruction of a barber. I do recommend this product if you know what you're doing. Just be VERY careful. The first time I tried it, I didn't get my lines the same on both sides, so I had to shave my hair really short to temporarily cover up the mistake so I can try next time when it's grown out again. I would recommend this product more if it came with instructions with pictures to show how to use it perfectly, and/or if the YouTube videos were more instructional. This thing is freaking awesome!!! So I am NOT a barber, but I have over the years almost perfected a fade on my husband. The only thing I couldn’t do perfectly was point his sideburns, he has a very specific way that he likes it and when I tried it just fell short. I saw this product on Shark Tank again (as an update) and decided to give it a whirl for only $8 what do I have to lose right? Well I used it for the first time and he got the best haircut to date. The sideburns look great, but also I used all the angles all over his head and it made it so seamless and easy to cut all along every edge. Pics are after first use, so I feel I will get better with using it with time (I also accidentally cut his top with a 3, not a 2 so his cut will look even better next time) but I highly suggest this to anyone who cuts men’s hair be it in the home or at the barbers. I should also mention that HE is super pleased with how it looks. I can’t speak for using it on a beard yet but we are both so pleased with this product, seriously, buy it! I ... show more
