I bought this as a starter kit for my son. The leather that comes with it is worthless. Even after softening it, the stamps barely show. Not worth getting.

    • Just needs a punch pad
The one thing this kit needs for a lot of the work with tooling is a decent punch pad, you can use other things, but you'll end up with some of the nice starting pieces, potentially, being damaged...or you damage a table you're working on.
