15-20 years ago we used a Sony Camcorder to video our children at events ( holidays , sports ). One day the camera just stopped working -we tried recharging the original Sony battery and although it said it had charged , the camera would not come on . We’ve moved several times so somehow the charging cord that goes directly to the camera was misplaced. The camera and cassettes were packed away until I recently found them while cleaning out our garage . I googled which battery might work for my camcorder model , ordered this set from Amazon , and they work great ! We are watching videos of our small children ( who are now adults) and family events ( with some family members that have since passed /deceased) for the first time in 13 years ! Okay, so I ordered this in haste. I was on a video shoot and realized that I had lost or misplaced the charger for my video light battery. I popped on Amazon on my phone and ordered this product quickly thinking that it was just the charger and I was very delighted when the product arrived because not only is it the charger, but it comes with 2 batteries as well!     • Battery are ok
Had this for about 2 weeks. The batteries die after 1 hour on my external monitor. Literally charged it like a few times and the USB port stopped working. Please don’t buy chargers that have a micro usb! I really thought this had USB C.

    • Very slow to charge, but otherwise functional.
Great for mobile use, specifically when USB power is the only option available...like charging in your car. But the charging is very slow, so this should only be "plan b" when you have normal household voltage available and could use a desktop charger instead.

    • Battery is just OK
I've gotten deep into video production lately and purchased lots of lighting. I decided to upgrade my lighting to move away from having to rely on power cords to batteries. I purchased these along with some other brands here on Amazon. As a test I ran these against another brand I purchased at the same time that same mAh to see how the more expensive batteries would perform compared to these in the lights. The results were the other lights lasted almost 30 minutes longer. While these would last long enough for me to shoot my weekly YouTube videos, the extra 30 minutes would be helpful if there were a delay. In all transparency, I also compared a set of older batteries I had of the same size and these lasted longer, but those batteries were over three years old (buy not uses much). ... show more
