  • Great way to get back into piano
Size: 88-key
I took piano lessons for six or seven years when I was growing up. I often played for Sunday school. However fifty some years later I had lost it all. Most of my interest for the past twenty years has been guitar but I had a longing to get back into piano again. I had several criteria for my situation; I had no room for a piano so it would have to be a smaller footprint like a keyboard; it had to have the quality of a piano including all 88 keys that strike and feel like piano keys; and it had to be affordable since I did not know how much of my piano playing skill could be revived. I selected the Artesia 88 key piano after reading the reviews and considering all the options. I'm very happy. I've had it for a month now and with the help of youtube, online sheet music, and a couple of instruction books I think I'm going to move ahead nicely with my skills. The things I like best: 88 keys (very important for many piano pieces), great feel on the keys, nice size and weight to move around my office, excellent sound even without additional amplification, good volume control, and it has pretty extensive voice selection, but for now I'm just using piano. Its offered as a beginner keyboard, but I find nothing limiting about it. I plan to use it until I outgrow it - which probably won't happen ... show more

  • Has almost everything you need to start learning piano!
Size: 88-key
I’m just learning the piano and knew I wanted all 88 keys to practice on, so this was a good fit. I connect it to my computer and run LMMS and a VST on it so I can use it to hear different instruments when I play. I also won’t wake up my roommates when I play at night so it’s great. It also has a way to listen to it without the computer as well as speakers. Pressing hardy and lighter gives a louder and softer sound as you would expect which is great. If you’re using speakers, the eq is adjustable and so are a lot of settings actually. It’s a very good first piano and a decent investment if you’re serious about learning and aren’t going to give up on it in a week. 10/10 would recommend. Doesn’t come with a stand though so you have to buy that yourself. Comes with a power cable and a sheet music prop. I think it comes with a usb cable but I forgot. ... show more

  • Great value for money!!
Size: 61-key
Very fast delivery. Really satisfied with the product. Here’s my review. The order came in 5 days, with all the attachments. I had to email the seller for the software’s, to which the sent me the link. I still have to try it. The keyboard feels great. I have used Yamaha digital pianos before and obviously this isn’t up to the same quality, but for the price it’s great. Keys are semi weighted, so the action isn’t too bad, it’s decent. Can compare to the Casio digital pianos starting range. The grand piano sounds are amazing, its clean and not muddy. I was looking for a smaller digital piano for the longest time because I had an 88 keys before and it wasn’t easy to carry it around for gigs, as I am a tiny person. The EP sounds are a little plastic, so I wouldn’t use it. I don’t use the other sounds so it doesn’t matter to me, but the organ and the piano sounds are great. Overall in the budget it’s a great buy, one can easily compare to the Yamaha np-12 series, but this is way better in the price range for a smaller size digital piano. ... show more

  • Great Sound and Ease of Use
Size: 88-key
My husband loves our new piano. He is a piano and guitar guy that needed a portable 88 note piano. We were attracted by the price and saw the Artesia grand pianos before so bought this one and are very happy with it. The sound is very good for a portable piano and when he hooks it up to a amplifier it sounds like a concert grand. It has a soft touch keybed and is very smooth and responsive to play. He uses his tablet to add more instrument voices. Great piano for musicians needing an inexpensive portable piano or beginners on a budget. ... show more

  • Great for Price
Size: 88-key
Sounds great, works great and definitely a good price for the beginner pianist. I was opting to get the PE-88 but I realistically didn’t need so many voices. Plus with a midi cable (not included) you can hook to an Apple device and use “GarageBand” to play more voices. Unfortunately, if you connect your phone or tablet to the keyboard then play music you can’t really play the piano at the same time since the piano keys will be drowned out by the sound of the music but that’s fine since I just play through my tablet without the cable. ... show more

  • Great for beginners
Size: 88-key
It’s a great beginner keyboard that’s not super expensive. I got it to relearn the piano after years of no practice and I wanted something that would ruin my bank account if I didn’t keep up with it, but it’s been great. The free month trial of the simply piano app was a bonus I didn’t realize I was getting. ... show more

  • Horrible Keyboard
Size: 88-key
As noted by others, the keyboard on this instrument presents an inconsistent touch. When playing chords, not all notes sound. To me, it feels like playing an 1890's pump parlor organ with a leaky bellows. Enough air gets through to sound single notes but on a chord, there's not enough air to sound all notes. Some say this is a good instrument for a beginner but I doubt that even a new player would be attracted to stick with it after using this thing. ... show more

  • Very okay.
Size: 88-key
I didn’t like it. I had to smash the keys to get loud sound. Playing chord progressions is a nightmare because of how hard you have to press. Very uncomfortable. It’s as if the sound doesn’t register if you press too many keys at once. Too bad because the sound quality was nice, and the keyboard was light. I sent it back the same day. ... show more
