    • Looks like a great chair, BUT the packaging is a concern

The room where this chair is going is not completed yet, so it has not been removed from the box. It had to be opened for a quick inspection, and looks like a beautiful piece of furniture. But, what really surprised me was the lack of appropriate packaging for an upholstered item. Items like this should ALWAYS have a thick piece of foam on top so that if someone cuts too deeply into the top of the box, the upholstery won’t get cut. Of course, there are warning labels everywhere saying not to use box cutters and other sharp objects to open these packages, but you KNOW that people will, so to help prevent accidents, that foam piece should be added to this and EVERY upholstered item pre-shipping! (01/10/22 update: had issues with this chair, reached out to the seller who is working with me to try to make things right. Hope it turns out well.) (01/21/22 update: the seller offered a replacement chair, which unfortunately had more defects than the original, so I’m just chalking this up to a visually pretty chair that is poorly made. FYI: Pay attention to the right-side in picture #4, because that’s how BOTH my chairs look! i will probably NEVER be able to get the right arm to line up with the studs on the right armrest, as this picture shows and proves! The left side lines up slightly better, but the picture has a throw conveniently “hiding” that side! The replacement chair also came without Velcro on the chair to stick the back flap too, and the back flap had a red stain on it. When we received the chair there was a stain and water spot on the cushion. We contacted Jack at customer service and found out that the color that was shipped was out of stock, so we had a discussion about how to clean and remove the stain and water spot. Beautiful, but I had foot surgery and the foot rest is way TOO HARD even for others. I used a little pillow but the back and seat are not comfortable and don't want too add back pain!! Sorry to have to return it!

LOVE how this chair looks. A pop of color in a dull corner. I almost sent it back because we couldn’t get the right side piece to slide all the way down (see photo with gap). But I put a tiny bit of Vaseline in the track and it popped right in. Whew! No one else has mentioned this issue, so it was prob just ours. Worth every penny for an accent chair. Not only is it surprisingly comfy, it lays almost flat. Tiny bit disappointed cuz some reviews mentioned an accent pillow and we didn’t get one. Not a big deal. Love it. ... show more

I got it for my livingroom. However, it'll go in the bedroom when i find the right chair for the livingroom. The two sides at the back are not even. The arm rest are not comfortable, the studs hurt your arm after a while. I ripped one of the back/side trying to remove it from the packaging, it was caught underneath. I wouldn't buy it again, which I though I would get a second one. ... show more

First I take my hat off to those who could make this chair work I could not; sent back the same day I got it. The chair came in one week was easy to put together but one arm would not slide all the way down no matter what I did. From far away it looks great just like the picture but close up it looks cheap and lightweight. But the worst is; it is not comfortable to sit on; really it feels like sitting on a cardboard box. I am 5'1" and small and this chair feels too small for me. If you want a chair that is bright and looks great from far away and you never want to sit in it then this will work just fine. I know the price point is low but I bought a $135.00 chair also and it is great very comfortable. One nice thing I could return free of charge so I really appreciate that! ... show more

I did not want a big plush recliner but one that was small but stylish at the same time. It doesn’t have fancy handles and all that kind of thing but it sure does look great and took all of a couple minutes to put together
