The best thing about this object is that it doesn't have to be strictly for diamond painting. It's lights up nice and bright though I would make sure that your not sitting next to someone who you could easily blind with it. It's lightweight so easily moveable and the clips help to keep the diamond paintings from curling or paper from flapping in the breeze. The cord was a bit short but I managed to make it work until I found a longer one. And the light from this helps me so much when looking down at the paintings. Especially since a lot of the colors can look similar at times. Definitely would recommend buying it. But I would also recommend getting bigger bead holders because the ones that come with this are quite small. ... show more

I’m so happy I decided to try a light board. What a difference. No more magnifying glass. This one was less expensive than many I looked at and does a great job. On bigger projects I just move my canvas around. No problem. I wish it was rechargeable but it’s ok. It does not get hot. One thing to point out. The light switch is on the lower right corner. I’m right handed so was constantly hitting it. So I just rotated it so the switch is in the upper right corner. Definitely recommend. ... show more

Edit: After contacting the company, my light board is being replaced. Customer service was very nice and tried hard to correct the situation. In the end, they offered to send me a new board. I really liked this light board when it was working. It was big enough for my diamond painting canvases, bright enough to make it easier to see. BUT, if I put the board the right way, with the ArtDot name at the bottom, my arm was constantly hitting the On/Off switch, so I turned it upside down. No problem. But after about 2 months, the light switch mechanism started to lift from the board. Still, no problem. Today when I tried to turn it on, nothing happened. One of the tiny little wires has come loose from the switch mechanism. So, I spent $50+ to use this board for 4 months. Very disappointed. ... show more

I tried using a lighted magnifying glass to see the small numbers on diamond paintings, but this works so much better. Much easier than constantly pulling down the magnifying light and adjusting it to see the numbers, then pushing it back out of the way. This particular one doesn't charge; it has to be plugged in, but that's not a huge drawback. I just got it so I can't say how long it lasts. ... show more

Love how slim, easy to store and lightweight, but WONDERFUL backlighting for Diamond Art painting. Helps keep me from neck & eye strain!!! Dark photo is without light on and other picture is low light (of 3 settings) on. Highly recommend!!! ❤️

My eyes aren't what they used to be so this has been very helpful for my diamond art. The only criticism I have is that the on/off button is on the top edge and is very sensitive. It takes very little pressure to turn it on and off. Which means I am constantly bumping it with my arm while working and turning it off. ... show more

This board is very nice and a great size for all my diamond art projects. The stand is a little delicate to handle the size of the board. Sometimes I wish it could be a bit brighter. The major downfall of this board is the power supply. The cord that came with it was crushed on the USB plug in side. I had another cord that fit so I didn’t bother to send everything back. The power cord plugs in at the bottom so if you are using the stand it kinks the cord. I put a couple of spacers in the give it some extra room but the pressure still caused the board to start separating at the power plug in. I can pop it back in when I unplug it but as soon as I use it again it separates. The board still works but it’s disappointing. I was also not fond of the diamond separators that came with the board. They were functional but I prefer them to not be connected to each other. I will likely have to get a new board at some point so I will be sure to look for one that either has the power cord on the side or is rechargeable and doesn’t need the cord while in use. ... show more
