  • THE BEST!
Color: White
This is the FIRST canopy that I can set up and take down on my own. Moving parts don't get stuck. It's great for trade shows, camping, or just extra shade in the back yard.

The media could not be loaded. Just opened and set up. Not easy to pop up, had to force in and it finally locked into place. Used tab to unlock with no success, finally was able to release it and the video attached was trying to get it popped back up. cheap made, screws are off and will cost more to return it. Canapy also has holes in it with grommets which if planning on using in rain will not work our with water being able to come in. ... show more

  • Great!
Color: Blue
This tent is incredibly easy to put up. After the first few times it gets even easier. The sides for the tent are better for sun shade than windy conditions as we've used them twice in mild wind and they've torn, but for sun shade they would be great.

  • Sturdy frame, very lightweight fabric (SEE UPDATED RATING)
Color: White
The listing for this canopy states "Heavy-Duty", and we agree that the frame is heavy-duty and stable, compared to other accordion-style pop-ups we have. The steel tubing is robust and has a nice hammertone finish, and the plastic joints are all tight with no wobble. But the fabric is very very lightweight nylon. It is far lighter than other portable canopies and gazebos we have. There are reinforcements and Velcro sewn in the corners and at the peak, but the material was really getting stressed when erecting the frame - I'd be concerned about the longevity of the fabric, especially if any of the corners start to wear from use. The listing also states "Easy One Person Setup". While the frame is indeed a one-person job to erect and take down, two people make it much faster and easier. The instructions (two flimsy sheets of paper with small pictures) even show two people putting it together. The fabric canopy could MAYBE be installed by one person IF there is no wind or rain. But again, two people make it much easier - and extra hands would be mandatory if there is any wind! Two people also make folding all the fabric MUCH easier. The listing shows four supports that extend from each corner to the peak - but the frame on ours didn't have those. Instead, there is a long center post with a round plastic piece to support the fabric at the peak. This post is pushed up and locks in place to form the very tall sloping roof - taller than other canopies we have seen - and allows plenty of overhead room. There is no doubt this will shed rain easily and effectively too. The center locking post also locks the entire frame in the open position - no individual locks to hassle with on each corner post, which is a nice feature. The legs have handy push buttons to lock the legs once extended. There are three separate side panels, which are likewise extremely light nylon, with Velcro straps to secure them to the frame - which is a tedious process to secure them all. And since they are separate, the corners are basically open, only secured at the top, bottom, and middle - so there would be a lot of wind passing through on a breezy day. The instructions only show a couple of tiny pictures of the side panels - nothing explaining the proper orientation or Velcro installations. There is also an awning panel that is Velcroed to the top, and uses two horizontal poles inserted into holes in the frame to keep the awning sticking out. But there is no cross-bar, so nothing to hold the eave tight. Any substantial rainfall would likely collapse this awning. There is no front fabric panel to this shelter. The holes in the frame and the Velcro for the awning on the top need to be aligned, and create the front of the canopy. This means you have to pay attention in order to position the holes towards the front, then unfold the top and verify you have the Velcro also facing front before installing it on the frame. Again, this can be really tough in the wind or rain. The storage bag is medium weight backpack style nylon, with nice rolling wheels (easy for one person to pull it, even in grass), a storage pouch, and grab handles - although the handles are pretty far apart, which makes it tough for one person to pick up and carry. The material started showing wear after simply removing the contents, and re-packing it after testing. We don't have much faith that it will outlast the frame or canopy, especially getting loaded/unloaded from a vehicle and storage. The bag fits the frame pretty tight - if you don't fold the fabric to the right size and get it really flat, it is very tough to squeeze it and the frame into the bag for storage. There are metal stakes for anchoring the frame, and eyelets and rope for anchoring the corners. There are also nifty nylon sandbags with Velcro sewn in - these can be filled with sand and wrapped around the bottom of each corner frame to anchor it too. Overall, this canopy would be handy for occasional use. But if you need to setup/knockdown a canopy for weekly farmers' market, car or art shows, or flea markets, I'd be concerned about the flimsy fabric not holding up to repeated use. UPDATE 8/16/23: We set this up on our driveway in a sheltered area. Left it up for two days, during which time there was moderate (not strong) wind. In this time, ALL the hems along the side curtains that attach to the velcro tore apart. Now the side curtains are worthless. I do NOT consider this a heavy-duty shelter. It is a light-weight canopy only - do not use it if windy. I've changed the rating from 4-stars to 2-stars. ... show more

  • Excellent quality
Color: White
This Arrowhead Outdoor canopy is well made and of excellent quality. I finally had the opportunity to take it to the beach, over the 4th of July weekend. For how big it is, it’s fairly portable, thanks to the carrying bag wheels. The wheels roll smoothly on hard surfaces and grass, but less so on sand and loose dirt. I’d estimate that the whole package weighs somewhere around 60lbs., but it doesn’t feel that heavy on wheels. The carrying bag is a little over 5 ft. long, it fits in the back of a truck or suv. It’s not too difficult to set up, one person assembly is possible, but it’s much easier, and quicker, with two or more people. I used to have a 15 year old, commercial grade canopy, this seems every bit as durable, if not more so, and it’s much easier to transport and assemble. The heavy duty steel tube frame feels sturdy, and has a nice finish, that appears to be powder coated. It has three adjustable height settings, I prefer the middle setting. Sand bags are included for securing the base of the frame, they provide adequate support. The top cover and sides are made of a thin polyester material, it appears to be reasonably durable, but it’s not up to the same level of quality as the frame. The frame will definitely outlast the sides and top cover, which can always be replaced, or upgraded, if desired. The material is UV and water resistant, providing cover from sun, rain, and wind. I like that the white colored material seems to provide a slightly cooler interior space, than a darker colored fabric would. This canopy kept me cool and covered all day long. The 10’ X 10’ size is more than adequate for my needs. I really like the front awning, my last canopy didn’t have one. There’s a bit of a learning curve involved with repacking everything in the bag, it was slightly challenging at first, but not too bad, and it’s sure to get easier with practice. The overall quality of this canopy is excellent, it’s definitely suitable for days at the beach, camping, fishing, or other outdoor activities. At just under $285, it’s a good value, certainly an option worthy of consideration. I’m very pleased with this canopy and I highly recommended it. ... show more
