A few years back my husband was fitted with a name brand in ear hearing aid. One hearing aid was $3,000. It never got well and after having it adjusted several times it ended up in the drawer never to be used again. Since then my hubby has used other amplifier devices with varying results. His last pair has quit and now his hearing was significantly worse. I ordered a couple of different sides that were all returned for different reasons. Once he received this one he immediately set it up with the app. It has now been 2 months and he is very happy with the comfort, design, and his ability to hear better. The volume of the hearing aids was quite good, however, there were two items that did not work for me: 1) They were quite bulky, very visible and unattractive. 2) When the Bluetooth was active while listening to the TV, conversations with people around you were not possible. I love the usefulness of these hearing aids/ ear buds. I can easily hear conversations, even in a crowded room and also easily switch to ear bud mode for books, music and calls. The best of both worlds! Being the klutz that I am, I managed to misplace one of the buds after a couple of weeks. When I contacted customer service the matter was resolved quickly and fairly. The app does not work, volume can not be adjusted, and neither aid cannot be paired to Bluetooth. Turning noise cancelation on or off makes no difference and it does not stream phone calls nor music as advertised. I am sorry I bought it and decided to return it.

This is a good, well-made product that operates as advertised. Unfortunately, it didn’t help with my particular hearing problems. I would recommend these hearing aids to folks with better hearing than I have. - Elaine D.
