The Good: Optic clarity is very good, in fact, everything seems pretty comparable to my mid tier Vortex scopes. Holds zero and tracks well. The Ugly: The illumination adjustment knob is so stiff I can barely turn it. Extremely stiff. Not sure if loctite got on the internal threads or what, but it's a huge effort to turn. With gloves on, well forget about even thinking about that. Overall I still plan on using this scope as I like the clarity, the FFP, and the crosshairs. I just wish it was a little more user friendly when it comes to turning the illumination knob. I'm torn on if I would still recommend this scope or not.. I'm leaning towards yes even with the illumination knob issue. ... show more

Bought this for my 22.250 and it is perfect for hogs! Having the center dot v cross hair at 300+ is great! I have another Arken for bench rimfire @50-100 yds w/Japanese glass. Great quality for a reasonable price…. Highy recommended.

For a decent solid budget hunting focused optic this Arken is pretty solid. Got 2 option on the reticle in FFP so you can range things if you want too and use the reticle at any magnification. The capped turrets are nice and easy on/off with good solid clicks and feel to adjust if you need too. All the magnification, parallax and illumination all move smoothly. I am happy for the money it does the job well and glass is clear and bright no real distortions or color aberrations I see and for nothing super long it fits my needs. ... show more

First time on the range with this scope on a rimfire 22lr Tikka and I easily hit 6 inch plate a 300 yards. I could see the impact points on the target . Very clear glass , loud and crisp clicks on the turrets ,enough elevation travel to compensate for subsonic ammo. Very happy with it.

This is a nice scope… excellent for the money. However… on low power the crosshairs are so small you cant see it. Maybe this is a FFP trait? I dont know. I am returning it and getting a Vortex.
