  • Couldn't be happier with this purchase......
Size: 2.5 Gallon
I purchased this unit so we would have heated water at our hunting camp. Best money I've spent in a long time. The unit was ultra easy to install on the enclosed wall bracket, plugged into a 120 volt outlet, hooked up the incoming cold water line and added a hot line to the sink, and we were done. Hot water is readily available in minutes. We added a couple unions on the connecting nipples to make it easier to disconnect the entire unit and empty it for the winter............worked really slick. Since this will have to be done annually, the unions reduce the stress of using wrenches/pliers directly on the nipples and possibly causing damage over the ensuing years. The adjustable thermostat is a plus so we can set the temp on warm for most of the day and kick it up for high use periods. I also installed a wall switch for the 120 outlet, which makes it convenient to kill the power to the unit when we are going to be gone for an extended time, but don't have to worry about freezing temps. Definitely reflects quality workmanship and engineering, and the really reasonable price was a bonus. I would definitely buy again. ... show more

  • Water gets Hot!
Size: 8 Gallon
8 gallons is a lot of hot water. 160f hotwater last a while when using .5gallons a min. You mix cold and hot 50/50 and GA water is cold too. 15min plus shower is about what you'll get. Takes a hour and half to heat up 55f water too 160f. I ham a rain shower head as well and at 1.2ish gallons a min is plenty of water flow. ... show more

  • So far its great
Size: 2.5 Gallon
I like extra hot water at the kitchen sink. This thing gave me scalding hot water in one second. I turned the thermostat all the way up and my thermal temp gun showed it 155° after a couple days I turned it down to 140° It’s been in service for a couple of weeks. Let’s see how long it lasts. I’ll update when it breaks ... show more

  • Very hot instantly.... super product
Size: 8 Gallon
I tried three different tyoes of instant heaters but was not satisfied until i installed this heater. Very hot even just using 110v. We never run out of hot water under the kitchen sink. It does however fill up most of the space under the sink on one side. It has helped us in the kitchen tremendously. I am very pleased. ... show more

  • This is my second
Size: 8 Gallon
Put one in about a year ago and was so impressed I just installed another one. Works exactly as advertised. Seems to be excellent quality. Simple to hook up with the new "Sharkbite" fittings, plug and play. Great heater so far. Just keep in mind you need power nearby. Here is a picture of it installed, straight through, push on shut off valves on the other end. Wood added for support. PS. Pics may not be clear, I'm old! ... show more

  • Hope it lasts!
Size: 8 Gallon
I recently purchased the 8 gallon sized model. I plumbed it so it goes to all our hot water fixtures and use it as a "smaller buffer tank" before the on demand Oil boiler kicks in. So far so good. I cut the 1/2" hot water pipe and just used a sharkbite 1/2" to 1/2" screwed connection. Then simply ran 2 braided hoses. Was pretty easy and worked with no leaks. For the electrical I had to run a new 20amp circuit. My biggest concern is the anode rode not being available to replace, and also reviews saying that it has problems after 2 months.......I guess we'll see. I bought it to save Oil so the furnace does constantly cycle on every time you turn a hot water faucet on ... show more

  • Works Great!
Size: 2.5 Gallon
I finally have hot water again! I got a Tremax Thermostatic Mixing Valve allowing me to set the temp to maximum before it cools the water to give me hot water longer. This little unit is able to supply my whole house. I have always used cold water to wash my clothes and the dishwasher can warm water itself. I have only used it shower once, but it gave me hot water the entire time. I did turn off the water while lathering my hair. I didn't want to be stuck without hot water in the middle since didn't know how long it would last. Also easy to unplug for energy efficiency during the summer but since it's getting colder here I haven't bothered. ... show more
