I love my Jeep, being the Mr. Potatohead of the automotive kingdom. This must-have two-way radio accessory only enhances that reputation. Remove a couple of screws, pop this in place, and you have a microphone hanger in a perfect location, that does not stick out so far as to "bother" anything or create a safety issue, but puts a microphone easily within arm's reach and at an angle that allows easy access and viewing of the front of the mic, particularly if you have a display of any kind on the mic, or a radio head that actually mounts to a mic bracket. I was looking for something as a noob CB Radio user for my 2015 JKU. This was easy to install. I did remove both 8mm screws from the handle and completely removed the handle to install this. My Midland 75-822 fit on it well with the clip. The clip that came with this won’t work with my radio and there are two separate screw types. 2 with nut and 2 without. ... show more

Not sure why some people have such poor reviews on this product. It is exactly what I was expecting and holds my CB handheld perfectly. The screws it came with were a little hard to use, so I used some different metal screws I had laying around. When mounting you just have to be sure to pull the bracket all the way forward and tighten the grab bar bolts down securely so it wont move after install. ... show more

Works great! I ended up using my own mic clip that came with the radio. The one that comes with the mount isn't the best quality. The part that connects to the handle is also somewhat large, so be careful when installing it that you don't puncture the dash.

Works well for the price. Don't expect too much here. As other reviewers noted the bracket metal is thin, the CB Microphone clip is a soft metal, and the holes on the bracket and mike clip are misaligned. We didn't use the microphone clip but can confirm the hole misalignment - get out a drill bit and fix that problem if you need it. Our mike had a built in clip, not the usual button mount, so the bracket portion works fine without the flimsy clip. ... show more

I was hesitant to purchase after reading numerous low reviews. I took a chance anyway and I am glad I did. It is a cb mic mount but I had seen some use it as a phone mount.     • Low Cost, Low Quality - You get whatcha pay for. Its workable.
Easily a 2 star product. Not good enough quality for a 3 star, but the cost easily brings it up to a 2 star. If you are looking for a cheap CB Mount, then this is the product. Lets get into the quality. The black bracket is fairly rigid, but the black paint is low quality and scratches very easily. Screwing on the silver CB mount scratched up the surface. Just be extra careful. The holes on the silver CB Mount do not align up correctly to the black bracket. (yes, I am using the correct smaller holes). The fit was about 93% accurate, but you couldn't screw it in because the silver mount was forced out by the angled screws. I tightened down one bolt, and then put it in a table vice, to drill out the remaining 7%, to make a clean flush install. Fortunately the metal is cheap, and so the drill bit made easy work drilling out a correctly aligned fit. I have not installed it on the Jeep, but it looks promising with the angles. I'll update the review if the fit to the stock Jeep bar is not correct. ... show more
