It is extremely plush and soft to the touch, however it is very thin (which is fine with me). It has a rubber backing to it so it will not slide all over your floor. It is NOT made from yarn threads, which is probably why it is thin but a major plus for me-having cats. They cannot snag this rug with their nails and cause runs.     • Nice for a cheap carpet.
I got this carpet for the space between my couch and TV. It is currently laminate flooring, and I wanted something softer to put my feet on, and to cut down on the echo in my living room. When I opened the carpet, I thought for a minute they had sent me a blanket. As it was very thin, and had the fuzzy feeling of a fleece blanket. Obviously once I turned it over, and saw that it had a backing I knew it was a carpet. The color scheme in my living room is blue and orange, and the "Brown" carpet I ordered is actually mostly blue and orange, so it fits perfectly with the rest of my décor. Needed a rug near my front door. This is perfect for that area. I wanted something that was soft to walk on, not to thick, and with a rubber backing to stay put. This rug checks all those boxes. I will preface this that this rug was not the kind I thought it would be. By the design, I thought the rug would be more rough with a carpet like texture, however the rug is actually soft an plush. It's not necessarily bad, just unexpected. I purchased this to place on my patio to my apartment and added with sublight, makes for a very nice basking spot for my cat.     • Nice Rug with an Intersting Abstract Pattern and It's Washable!
Finally, lightweight rugs that you can machine wash. I've gotten several to replace the yukky heavy rugs I used to have. These are great, especially because they easily go into your washer. Yes, you have to lay them out to dry, but that seems like the best thing to do because you don't want to dry rubber-backed anything in the dryer because it smells and many times the rubber somewhat deteriorates. \ This has a nice abstract pattern that probably goes best with solid color furniture. It's big enough for a decent size living rooms but will also work in larger bedrooms as well. I'm actually washing one of these lightweight rugs now. I thought maybe I would have trouble getting into my washer, but I did not. I bunched it up (didn't fold) and it fit just fine. I love how lightweight the rug is.
