Low friction design allows the fish tape rod to easily glide through the conduit without stopping at turns, joints or couplings
  • SIZE: Single rod length: 1.1FT/0.33M, Diameter: 0.16inch/4mm (can work in narrow areas). Rods can be used individually or screwed together for required length, can be extended up to 11 feet, and together with 6 accessories, can be used in differing situations for pulling wire, snagging wire, etc
  • HIGH VISIBILITY: Electrical fish tape rods are colored with a bright yellow to be able to locate and differentiate the rods from wires easily. Also it is wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant and anti-oxidation, longer lifespan
  • CONVENIENT STORAGE: 10pieces 1.1FT fiberglass rods and 6 different accessories in one transparent plastic tube case with yellow silicone rubber end caps. • Coolest thing out there.
Color: 11FT
So I have to run my cat6 7 feet down an insulated basement wall, that means between drywall and the plastic vapor barrier tight from the insulation behind. My electric tape was unthinkable. So I went for this gadget. I tried pushing it from the top, but the angle against the joist above the ceiling made it rip the vapor barrier and go behind the insulation, so I thought, bummer! On a whim I pushed it UP, where the flexible segments would be less stressed improving the angle of penetration... and pushed and pushed and stop... it hit something. I went to the hole above the ceiling and there it was. I never thought something so thin could go so straight up! I went to the other end to bring the cat6 on top of the tile ceiling and it saved me time by being able to go 4 tiles over at a time (with 4 segments, the other 6 were waiting in the wall). The only snag (literally) was that the cable got caught against a joist and top of wall and while pulling, one of the attachments with flimsy split ring (think autoshop key ring) totally got deformed. So I used a piece of wire looped around instead of the ring. It worked. At the wall I used a braided steel cable with a red plastic cone to pull the cat6 and went down the wall without a hitch!!! To bring the opposite end of the cat6 inside the house through a small hole, I just pushed the pole segment by segment with the wife watching behind a corner TV stand. The pole went up along the corner until it hit the ceiling and then I shook it and it arched nicely for her to catch it. Easy as pie! Except for that flimsy split ring, it was perfect. The only improvement I would recommend is to include a male to male threaded adapter. It's hard to keep track of female and male threads in the heat of the battle. All in all, very impressed. Too much detail, bit I was so happy. In the past I've had to open multiple holes with some damage to the vapor barriers inside insulated walls, and inside the house, moving furniture and what not. ... show more

  • Worth the price, and not a joke tool.
Color: 11FT
In my contractor days of the past, I had a crazy stick. A single unit that you extend by setting the coupler. So you always have the full length, but can unset the coupler to make it shorter. This version you have to screw the pieces together, and keep the extra pieces in you pocket so you don't have to get off the latter. I prepped the ceiling in my garage for down lighting this weekend, and was able to run my romex across the internal side of the ceiling no problem with this stick. After a couple of hours, I was able to establish a workflow with this product and got use to how it works. For the price you can't beat it, and it didn't slow my performance down. It's very strong, yet has the right amount of bend. The screws actually was a benefit, because each screw can acts as a rest, to support the rod vertical so it's doesn't slip down the wall, to hold it place as you tie your string onto the leader tape. I ended up putting this in my tool bag as a permanent member of the my tool team. This tool is not a joke, and actually performs very well. I wish I could find my crazy stick, because I really liked it. But this tool does things my crazy stick couldn't do such as the flexibility of the material. ... show more

  • Worked enough to get the job done!
Color: 22FT
Bought it to pull some wires through the ceiling and it worked enough to finish the job. For me, 4 pieces was the limit. Anything after that, it started to sag and get hard to get over/across beams. Thank goodness for the magetic connector. I had another 2 pieces created with the magnetic head and insert it to the opposite hole to try and find the first pole's string that I attached a key ring to. My issue would be that I wish the magnet was stronger and the poles were stiffer. ... show more

  • Nice kit to assist in running tv cables
Color: 11FT
Makes a huge difference when running hdmi and other cables thru a wall. I’ve done it without this and never realized how much this helps. I love that you can break it down after for easy storage.

  • Under carpet wire running!
Color: 22FT
The media could not be loaded. I have a weird room layout, lots of doors and awnings, and needed to have two speakers in corners of a room 10+ ft room, with a 4 ft doorway in between. I was able to cut two holes in the carpet (under furniture) and run a speaker wire to the satellite speaker with this tool. For the price, it's pretty durable but I was very careful with how much pressure I was applying - I saw other reviews showing broken screw attachments, and I wasn't trying to have this thing stuck under my carpet indefinitely, but it held up for my purposes. And saying it was less costly than wiring through the walls or the actual floor is an astronomical understatement. About $10 spent to achieve the same effect hundreds of dollars and tons of labor it would have taken to have the wires hidden other ways. Idk if this would be safe for electrical cords, or if you have a thick wire or a thin carpet. My carpet is thick and the speaker wire is quite thin, and I can't feel it at all under the carpet. This thing was a lifesaver! ... show more

  • Missing cap and parts.
Color: 22FT
This worked well for fishing wires, but it arrived without a cap, and two of the ends. Are these shipped by robots? They should have weighed the package.

  • Man I didn't expect this
Color: 33FT
Normally something like this is like 30 bucks or over 30 bucks and not even with this many attachments I was extremely impressed from the price quality everything

  • Not very strong
Color: 22FT
The concept on this is great. However, the brass screw fittings aren't very strong and I broke the threads off of two different connections when the fiberglass rod would bend. Also the fitting are enough larger than the rod without any taper on the transition form brass to rod so the rod gets hung up VERY easily. ... show more
