The kit is great and contains everything you need to maintain your baitcasting or spinning reel. I've used it several times and the only issue I have run into was that I was missing my brain one (late) night and forgot how to put all the pieces back properly! I bought this cleaning kit to save some money on bringing my reels in to the shop for a cleaning and lube. I pulled up YouTube videos for cleaning my reels. I broke out my gun cleaning pad and the iPad and went to town one evening after putting the kids to bed. I had fun and learned a lot. This is a great kit and saved me a ton of money. I received the package fully ready to clean my reels that got dropped in the sand. The problem with this product is that it does not include all the lubricants that a reel will require. I bought the kit with the understanding that it included everything I would need, but being one item short what is the point of having a kit at all? The product that is missing is the ball bearing lube. It contains only reel grease and lube for all other parts. I am dissapointed most by the fact that I will have to buy yet another product, wait for its delivery, and miss a weekend of surf fishing. If you order this also order ball bearing lube. The instructions included with the kit have a few pictures for each type of reel that may need to be dissassembled (spiinning or casting) and lubed. There are 14 pictures per reel for cleaning and lubing instructions. The casting reel in the pictures is a bait casting reel and the pictures do not include the older casting reels which may have a small lever that releases the spool. The pictures include the use of the missing BEARING LUBE! The instructions are not a booklet but rather a pamphlet that folds out with pictures and a few words, and it fits inside the plastic box for storage. However, when purchased the bottle of ball bearing lube will probably not fit inside the plastic box. The dimensions of the case are 6" x 4.75" x 1.75" ... show more
