Features

  • LGA1851 AND LGA1700 CONTACT FRAME: Improved contact pressure distribution through Intel mounting frame for efficient heat transfer, thanks to even CPU contact surface
  • NATIVE AMD OFFSET MOUNTING: Optimized for the multi-die chiplet design of Ryzen processors - 5mm offset for optimal coverage of the CPU hotspot, resulting in more efficient heat transfer
  • ACTIVE COOLING OF THE VOLTAGE CONVERTERS: PWM-controlled VRM fan that additionally cools components in the base area, such as voltage converters
  • INTEGRATED CABLE MANAGEMENT: The PWM cables of the radiator fans are integrated into the jacket of the hoses, which means that only one visible cable is connected to the motherboard
  • LIMITED COMPATIBILITY WITH A FEW MOTHERBOARDS: Oversized coolers on the M.2_1 slot can lead to compatibility problems. An overview and solution is available in the technical data, in the manual and on the manufacturer's website. Please use the compatibility check

  • Superb cooling for the money
My system is based on a 13900k and I am running this 420 with 6 P14 fans in push pull and it works great. My cpu temps are very cool while gaming. The trade off is that the fans can get quite loud but that is the fan curve I've chosen to keep the temps from soaring. Look at how much larger it is than a 360 aio. In times past I would run dedicated water loops with a D5 pump, watercool heatkiller cpu block and EK reservoirs with a super thick Faser copper radiator and this set up is so much cheaper and easier to install in comparison plus it works very well. Just remember that the hose portion of the pump goes on the side facing the pcie slot and it will attach very easily. If your case allows for it spend the extra bucks put it in push pull for the best cooling possible. I know some people like them with the lcd panels but since I run a 12.6" sensor panel I don't need one. Yes I would definitely recommend this AIO to anyone. ... show more

  • keeps a i9-13900KF under control
This is extremely and effective compared to the double stack / dual fan air cooler that I had on a i9-12900KF . That was a failure . It takes ARTIC's 360mm-RGB LIQUID FREEZER 3 to keep that under control . Barely $125 delivered you cant beat it . High quality , well made cold plate is newly designed . Read up on youtube ! This 420mm-LF3 works extremely well on a i9-13900KF . At full load the "P" cores hit 90deg for a couple seconds and settle in high 70's-low80's range for the duration of Cinebench . Would buy another no question ! ... show more

  • Almost perfect
The value per performance is top notch! The only complain is when your trying to screw the pump in. It took me alot of tries and I think the screws are too short so it's a but hard to screw both together.

  • Awesome, but hard to install. Be careful with AMD.
Thermal performance and noise are over the top awesome. Coming from a Liquid Freezer II 360, I'm having a hard time even hearing the fans and the temps are down about 5 deg C on a 7950x3D. No brainer upgrade for my aging unit that is full of lint and probably clogged with gunk in the cold plate. Installation on the AM5 platform is on the other hand the one knock against it. I got a Kryosheet to try out for my first time with this AIO and almost destroyed it in the process of trying to get the two spring plate screws engaged. It took me quite a few tries and a forehead full of frustration sweat. The solution is probably pretty easy for Arctic to implement... Make the engagement length of the screws longer before it actually starts torquing down on the spring plate. The fact that the screws start out bowed out to the sides doesn't help with alignment either. I made it work but I'm also an engineer and deal with stuff like this in my sleep. A rookie kid trying to install this is potentially going to destroy something, or at the very least strip the first threads on the screw which is going to end in frustration and RMAs for at least one component if not a lot more...$$$ These issues were detailed in Gamers Nexus reviews and they had the same issues. I made it work because I knew about it ahead of time and I also know how to deal with such things. A noob won't find it so easy. TLDR: great performance, tricky installation. Would I recommend it?? Eh... depends who is asking for the recommendation. ... show more

  • Maximum cooling and dead quie for a reasonable pricet!!!!
3C colder at same settings from my older Liquid Freeze II, literally 26 C as I'm typing, and ~45-50 C gaming. I use Phobya fan shrouds, and a pull configuration (more efficient at low fan speeds). Love the separate fan, pump, and VRM fan controls. Requires some fan cabling adjustment when flipping fans, but still easy. The new block install is very simple and straight forward. Easier than previous mounts. This is serious over kill except for those chasing DEAD quiet!! ... show more

  • Pump Audibly Noisy
Everything in terms of build, ease of use and install, performance, and aesthetics is great. Unfortunately there is a very audible noise that comes from the pump when set to default speeds. I had to end up running the pump at 35% at idle and a max of 60% at max capacity. The noise begins around 40% and gets louder the higher the speed. Your milage may vary. Others have reported they don't hear a noise or that it isn't as bad. However, it is a common issue. If they can fix this issue and offer a replacement procedure for those affected, I'll change my rating. ... show more
