Got this for an old car that I’m working on replacing the floor pans and modifying. It cuts great, I have tried it on 3/16 plate and it cuts perfect. The box it came in was torn, I called Amazon and they refunded and told me to keep it. Works well on 110 volts.

    • Not disappointed at all
Prettiest dang good little machine. When I say little I mean little. Was kinda taken aback by the size of it but it made up for it in performance. Cut everything from sheet metal to half inch with it so far. Went thru 1/4 inch like butter. Only complaints are the regulator is wonky on the back and not good quality. It’s very “flimsily” mounted. You will want and need to take off the stock connector and put a male fitting in its place for an air hose. Be careful and firmly hold regulator doing so because it doesn’t seem secured very well inside machine. This machine is very touchy with the air pressure settings. You’ll get used to it. The ground cable is kinda cheaply made but works. The amp selector has no stops it just spins all way around. All in all it’s a fantastic machine for the price. I wouldn’t go out and use it on the pipeline but for a hobbyist and light duty work it’s great! ... show more

I use it usually for body panels etc . Sometimes up to 1/4” plate and it does. Great job. Also the replacement tips are very affordable unlike other models

This is definitely worth the money. Definitely want to change the ground clamp and air line connection. If you’re tech savvy in the least, these are easy modifications that make a world of difference. I cut 24’ of 1/8 aluminum 8ft at a time without the machine cutting out at all. I have also cut up to 3/4 steel, no problem. Running on 220 makes a huge difference as well. Make sure you have a large enough compressor too. As a former iron worker I was skeptical, mostly because of the price. No longer skeptical. ... show more

It does super thing stuff. I did 1/4” and we will say it was severe duty. It got through it but it wasn’t pretty. 1/16” diamond plate was great. I will mention, this is a contact plasma cutter. It will not arc unless you make physical contact with the metal with the tip. Seriously a crappy design but it got me through. ... show more
