This thing os really cool! I recommend it if you're nostalgic for retro games.. Let's do the cons first: 1. Its not lightweight. Build it where you expect it to go and don't take it out of the box until you get there. 2. Its not full size. About 2/3 the size of the arcade games 3. Directions can be a little sketchy in places. They are mostly just pictures.. Make sure you completely understand the orientation of parts before you put them together! 4. The film on the plexiglass feels like they welded it on. I just left it on the back side because I couldn't get it started to take it off. Doesn't seem to be noticeable or detract from it in any way, but I wasted a lot of assemble time trying to get it off. The film protecting the main screen was also put on before the outer screws went in, which means there's tiny pieces of film around each screw head, which is driving my wife crazy. I'm not unscrewing them to take it off because I don't want to damage the screen, but its hardly noticeable and the kids certainly won't care. 5. Connects to WIFI for certain features. While I understand the attraction, I'm choosing not to connect it to mine and use it stand alone over security concerns. It works just fine without it. The pros: 1. It comes WELL packaged. Could probably survive a nuclear weapon strike. Half my assembly time was unpacking it. 2. Everything is clearly labeled, down to the last screw. Made assembly a snap. It's mostly particle board, but its dense, high quality particle board and it doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. 3. While I haven't played them all, the games I have played look, sound, and feel like a brand new arcade game from the Eighties, albeit a bit smaller. That also means it takes up less space, a plus for us. 4. With the exception of one or two spots, its pretty easy to assemble. You might need some help when it comes time to join the upper and lower sections together as the top section is a little heavy and awkward, but I managed it by myself. If you've successfully assembled bigger furniture pieces by yourself, you can probably do it alone. 5. Price was fantastic. Did get it on a Amazon Cyber Monday sale or something, but its worth paying for even at regular price if you love retro gaming and dont want to drop thousands on a restored. ... show more

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend. The wood grain cabinet is perfect for her den. Doesn't make her room look like an Arcade room while still promoting Pac-Man. Assembly as others have reviewed is about 3 hours. All the hardware was included. I was very impressed with the machining of the pre-drilled holes. Everything fit perfect ( Which is unusual). They even included some extra screws in case you lose one. Game play is the same as the original games, and easy to navigate. Pros: Great classic games, Rugged cabinet, Great cabinet decals, Play switches and joystick good quality. Cons: Would be nice if other games could be downloaded to the unit. Would like the leader board to include the current high score obtained on this machine. Only the high scores from the web are displayed. It does not have a place for two players to display their initials. Overall very pleased with this machine! ... show more

Purchased for my husband since he loves Pac-Man. Great item, didn’t take too long to assemble….many parts, all items in box. Looks and plays like the actual 1980’s arcade game. I bought this as a Christmas present for my husband. This came packaged perfectly. The entire unit assembled easily though the wiring instructions were a bit confusing. When my arcade came in I had damage to the box it came in and also after taking things out to see if there was internal damage I found the power adapter to have bent prongs on it. Don't know about you buy when you buy something new you kind of want it in new condition.

We went to the mountains at Thanksgiving and the house we rented had this game. It happens to be our mom's favorite game from her childhood. She enjoyed so much we purchased her one for Christmas. Well made. Easy to read instructions and put together.

This is our first cabinet purchase. We really enjoy the classic Pac-Man, Galaga, and DigDug and having this cabinet in our playroom brings the fun of the arcade into our home! Assembly is easy, but a lengthy process. It took me about two hours. Cabinet is not a "full-size" cabinet, but it fits into smaller spaces and will give us room to add more cabinets later. Graphics quality is great and the sound volume is adjustable, so we can adjust it when someone wants to watch a movie in the next room. The marquee lights up and this unit also has a floor light. The wall anchors are a must in my house and this unit comes with a wall anchor system. My only gripe is the sheetrock anchors included in the kit were too big for the screws used to attach the anchors to the wall. We look forward to many hours of arcade fun and can't wait to add another cabinet! ... show more
