  • Way cooler than I expected!
Style: Pinball
I’ve always loved pinball, and the Arcade1Up Attack from Mars virtual pinball machine absolutely delivers the fun! It’s more realistic and immersive than I expected, with responsive flippers and fantastic visual details. The Williams tables are my personal favorites—they capture that classic pinball feel perfectly. I even made a small adjustment to improve the tactile feedback when hitting the flippers, and now it feels even more like playing a real pinball machine! Arabian Nights has been a real standout with its unique theme and gameplay. This machine strikes a great balance between nostalgia and modern convenience, and I’ve been having a blast. Highly recommend it if you love pinball or just want something fun for your game room! ... show more

  • Easy assembly plays very good
Style: Pinball
Impressive pin with multiple games Plays as well as any Full size cabinet. Some reviewers posted bad reviews about the flippers having a delay. I believe those posters have a poor skill level and poor reflexes these pins are enormous fun, but one , teach the kids how to play, build long lasting family memories. • A Great Deal...When On Sale!
Style: Pinball
This is my third Arcade 1UP machine, and my first of their pinball lineup. I have 3 real pinball tables, one from 1960, one from 1980, and one from 1992, as well as another virtual pinball table, so I was eager to see how well the 1UP machine performed. To my surprise, it worked quite well! Assembly took around an hour and a half, so not bad. That's on par with their other products. Once it's all assembled though, it's quite sturdy! The legs feel solid, and they stay firmly planted on the ground during play. The haptics are also well done, imitating a flipper, as well as the jet bumpers when the ball hits them. There is a very slight delay between the press of the button and what happens on the screen, but after a game or two, you get used to it. Graphically, the games look pretty good. A lot of people have complained that the 720p resolution bothers them, when they have the ability for 1080p. I can see that as being very valid, but again, once you start playing, you don't really notice. If you look at the boards very closely, you can see some sharp pixels, but during gameplay you can't tell. The cabinet itself feels very sturdy, like it can really take abuse. I let my niece and nephew play a few rounds, and everything is still working great. The beveled monitor gives the illusion of a sunken gameboard, adding to the "real" pinball table feel. The imitation dot matrix screen is interesting. During gameplay, it doesn't fill up the entire screen, rather, it shrinks down to fit, almost like wide-screen, leaving two black bars along the top and bottom of the screen. Also, you can clearly see the screen divided into little squares, which I've added in a picture. This bothers me visually, but it doesn't effect gameplay. So what's the score? 4/5. It's a good, solid effort. The tables are great, and popular. If you wanted to buy these real pinball tables, you'd be looking at spending 4-10 thousand per table, depending on which one you wanted, and condition. However, when this is at full price, I'm not so sure if it's worth it. On sale, however, it feels just right. Add it to your collection if you're a pinball fan, or if you want to start getting into the hobby. It's a great entry point. ... show more

  • Do the sofware update and have fun
Style: Pinball
I wasnt sure about these virtual pinball machines till a friend got star wars and tried it out, I was really surprised how fun and realistic it was. When I found the AFM machine with the classic boards I had to have it. I was happy with how well packaged it came, pretty easy to assemble considering what it is. There is an update that fixes the problems with the whitewater table and a few other things, pretty easy to install with a laptop. The machine looks awesome like a pinball machine should with the chrome and lights, speakers are great, they really do a great job with these. If you are handy there are a few simple mods to make it even better. The boards have done an amazing job to mimic the machines I remember playing and the size is great. ... show more

  • Easy assembly
Style: Pinball
This is an excellent buy. We have a small game room with a dartboard and bar. This was the perfect addition to the room. The machine arrived a day early which was a pleasant surprise. Once unboxed, the assembly was smooth and easy. Every pre drilled hole lined up perfectly and it was easy to put together which is rare for large pieces like this. It does weigh quite a lot so I’d recommend having an additional pair of hands if you don’t plan on assembling it in the same area you will use it. The haptics feel great. Haven’t experienced any glitches with the programming. Some people have reported a slight delay on the paddles. In my experience, that delay is minuscule. And you easily figure out how to negate it while playing. I don’t plan on hosting tournaments so I could care less. Lastly, the graphics are NOT 1080p. No big deal for me, still looks and plays great. Sound quality is amazing, it can get quite loud. Overall, I’d highly recommend this as an excellent addition to any game room. I might even buy another one that’s how much we enjoy it. Kudos, to the company. You have a great product. ... show more

  • Input lag is terrible, came with a dead pixel in the screen that caused a cross.

This thing could be awesome! But the input lag is unplayable and the thing came with a dead pixel.

  • Lots of Fun! - Time will tell with durability
Style: Pinball
I just received this and the assembly was super easy. I did most of it by myself, but definitely get someone to help you move it around. It's heavy and awkward to move without an extra set of hands. The machine is really well made and the chrome accents make it really atractive. The case is sturdy and has no problem holding up to some bumping from play. I've read a ton of things about the computer in these burning out, so I'm going to make sure to remove the casing around it and add some fans. I really hope it holds up! ... show more
