Great product and was packaged pretty well. I was worried because the box had a gash in one of the edges but there was no damage to any of the parts. Relatively easy to set up but a few of the screws didnt want to go in smoothly. The plexiglass and table surface had plastic film protecting them but there were still some small scratches on the table surface. Not a big deal but worth noting. Feels solidly built and the controls are nice. I wish the screen was a little bigger but its acceptable the way it is. It has some good games on it but a few of them are kind of lame. Wish it would have had a few more games. Maybe theres a way to add a few more. ... show more

So we decided to turn the laundry room into a game room. This machine looks great and works just fine. The assembly was fairly easy. Now in hindsight the only thing I can say is I really wish I bought the upright machine instead of the table. It’s uncomfortable to play and because of that it doesn’t get nearly the play the Pac-Man machine does. Again works great, the game selection is good. I recently purchased the Arcade1Up Mortal Kombat Head-to-Head Arcade Machine, which has pros and cons. On the positive side, the nostalgic design is an excellent homage to the classic arcade experience, and it's fun to play with a friend, thanks to the two-player setup. The graphics and sound quality are decent for a home arcade machine. However, I found the unit's overall size to be relatively small, and they should include a lift and a bigger screen for the price. Additionally, the controls can be a bit sensitive, and some players might prefer a more authentic feel. The assembly process also took longer than expected. The cabinet was solid, games true to the arcade. Assembly definitely needs 2 people, so a heads up on that. The only gripes I have are that there are no scanline options like on my countercade, no division line between the split screen on head to head games, and you cannot play full screen on one player mortal kombat games like half the other games in the cabinet will allow. I am sure it is just a limitation in the screen resolution, but at the least, scanlines would have been a nice option. There was a distorted speaker on the player 2 control panel, and after a few email exchanges outlining the problem, 1up stepped up and are sending me a replacement player 2 control panel. The “gripes” are insignificant to the casual gamer to be honest. Oh, and get some anti slip rubber strips or a mat to place it on, if you have laminate or hardwood floors. Got it with very steep Black Friday discount and it was worth it. Otherwise it's a bit steep. Nice product though, too bad the screen is tiny. If you know how to update the screen (tons of internet resources to find), it'll make a much better device experience. Still 5*'s for as it is.
