But I said "Hey, easy return if I end up not liking it" Well, I got this delivered and I was shocked to see how small the box was. I was expecting a rolled up carpet, but this was vacuum sealed in a box. An 8 by 10 FOOT carpet... in a box?? It was kind of perfect since I was moving anyways. So I brought it to my new place, opened the box, and took the rug out of the box... it DEFINITELY has a smell... like artificial chocolate or something? But it went away in just a couple hours, so nothing to be concerned about. Anyways, the carpet is SUPER soft and looks really good. Put this rug in my son's room. While we can't use the up right vacuum you can shake it out. Probably a stick vac would work too. Gave the room warmth and a soft spot for feet to land.

Got this rug vacume sealed in a small bag which is not what you expect when purchasing a rug. Gave it the benefit of the doubt and opened it to inspect. The rug smells so strongly of chemicals I had to put it outside along with it being no thicker than a glorified blanket. It is poorly put together and when held up you can see sunlight through it which was shocking. There is virtually no padding or backing and I am shocked at how low quality this rug is.
