I needed to replace an extender that was damaged in a blowout, I actually ended up connecting two together since I ordered them too small... but they seem to be well made and a good value.

2018 Classs "C" RV - Ford E-350 Super Duty Chassis. In spite of the 1-star reviews that I read (and ignored) that reported leaking, I felt that it was likely user error or failure to properly tighten. I was excited to get these extensions in the mail and went immediately to install them. The first one out of the package leaked (hissed) and could not be tightened to stop the hiss. One down, 3 to go. The next two I took out seemed to do the trick. I tightened them past the hissing and an extra snug or two with the wrench to be sure they would not leak. I filled the tires to their recommended 75PSI and went into the house for dinner. The next morning I went outside, eager to see if I had lost any air. I HAD LOST ALL MY AIR! I went outside to find 2 totally flat front tires. I removed the 4" extensions and they will be returned. I really wanted these to work, but can not take a chance on losing pressure in my front steer tires. I will go back to my stock valves and just deal with the tight space that I need to get my fingers and air line into when I check my tires. I would rather struggle with occasional pressure checks than lose all my air in a catastrophic failure. Or even slowly during a 4 hour drive. ... show more
