This rug is so soft and fluffy that a grown man in his 50's laid on the floor just to roll on it. Very soft to the touch and to walk on. I have mine as a centerpiece over my carpet which still allows room for my grand to play and drive her car over it. The price is amazing. This came in a square box so we weren't sure how it would lay flat but it laid perfectly flat right out of the box. It has a weird slippery feel to it but otherwise it's soft. The back isn't sticky but it doesn't slid around when it's on the ground. It had a little bit of a inky smell at first but it went away after a day or so. ... show more
