I have a Suzuki Kingquad 750 and I have been doing some upgrades over the past few weeks on it. I wanted to add something to the atv that would allow me to play music. Im typically extremely picky when it comes to my audio sound, however I really didn’t want to spend $800+ on audio equipment for the atv. It was between the MTX sound bars or boss. I’ve never really been a fan of boss and I’ve always tried to stay away from them but I decided for the price, I couldn’t beat it. The sound bar came fairly quickly, I got it within 2 days so I was pretty happy about that. I hooked it up straight out of the box to my 12V outlet to test the sound and make sure everything worked. It came right on and the Bluetooth was very easy to hookup. Right off the bat it sounded decent. I unhooked it and mounted it to the front rack and pulled the atv out and started it up, to my surprise at full volume this speaker sounds amazing. It hits lows and highs, it sounds very good so far. I have not tried it on the trails yet I will within the next two weeks. There are a few things I don’t like, for starters it does not get as loud as I had hoped. But it still gets pretty loud, not sure how the sound will be at 50 mph but we will see. Secondly I do not like the 3 different wires that are connected on the left side of the bar, you have your USB out, your aux cord, and a power cord. On an atv it is really hard to fuse those extra wires without it looking janky. I was able to zip tie them under the front rack out of the way. However it would be nice if maybe we could disconnect those two wires and then there could be a rubber insert to plug the inputs on the sound bar. Just an idea. Other than that tho, the sound bar looks great. Very happy! Yes I would recommend this to anyone who wants a sound bar without spending tons of money on a powerbass or wetsounds. ... show more

We love this sound bar! We use it in our side by side and it works great!! The Bluetooth is easy to connect to our phones. Music always sounds full even as you turn up the volume. Highly recommend this to everybody!

This speaker sounds good but definitely not 500 watts. To put in perspective I have a Ram 2500 with crappy stock radio ( no bose sytem) and this is not as loud as that. Has as much bass as a 4" speaker can provide and its clear just not 500w loud. I have a $79 Onn party speaker from Walmart that is louder and sounds better. I want a 12v speaker bar to mount on my boat to use while fishing or at sand bar so the volume isn't a huge concern. Its a cheaper option that the other brands that come with LED flashy lights. You ATV/SXS guys would not be able to hear this very well over the engine at idle or on the trails. I have a stock Ranger XP1000 and tested it out. It seems well built. Comes with a cigarette lighter insert attached. I'll keep it and roll the dice for its longevity on the boat. I haven't mounted it yet but the mounts slide in a track on top of the speaker so should be easy. ... show more

Got a refurbished model for my 24 pioneer 1000-5, for the $170 I spent it was definitely a bargain! Mounted up fine and I'm running it off of a milwaukee 18v batt. Could it have more bass...yes, louder..yes but then it would surely cost much more. Hard to beat the bang for the buck.

The media could not be loaded. Got this to go on our RZR, we rode around without it turned up all the way, was really rough today on the trails. The speaker never moved and I never had a problem hearing the speaker. Great product. I used the AUX cord today and the AC adapter to power it but we plan to hard wire it in. ... show more
